第四国，必坚壮如铁，铁能打碎克制百物，又能压碎一切，那国也必打碎压制列国。

復有其四之國、堅剛似鐵、夫鐵能服百物而碎之、此國亦必行破壞如鐵然、

最後一國、剛強若鐵、鐵能服百物而碎之、眾國皆為所破、

其後又有一國、即第四國、剛強若鐵、鐵能破百物而碎之、其國將破眾國而碎之、如鐵之破百物、

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything— and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom. It will be as strong as iron. Iron breaks and smashes everything to pieces. And the fourth kingdom will crush and break all the others.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes.

A fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron; for iron crushes and shatters everything, and like iron that smashes, it will crush and smash all the others.

Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; just as iron smashes and crushes everything, so, like iron that crushes, it will smash and crush all these things.

「此後在夜間的異象中我繼續觀看，看哪，第四隻獸非常恐怖、十分可怕、極其強壯！牠有大鐵牙，吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踩踏；牠與之前的各獸都不相同，牠有十隻犄角。

「那時我很想知道有關那第四隻獸的真義；那獸與其他各獸都不相同，牠極其恐怖，有鐵牙和銅爪，吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踩踏。我也很想知道有關牠頭上的十隻犄角和那另長出的犄角的真義——在這犄角面前有三隻犄角倒下了；這犄角有眼睛，有說大話的口，牠的樣子比牠的同類更大。我繼續觀看，這犄角與聖徒們作戰，並勝過了他們，直到亙古永存者來臨，為至高者的聖徒們伸張公正，聖徒們擁有國度的所定時候就來到了。「那位侍立者這樣說：『那第四隻獸是地上將有的第四個國，與其他各國都不相同，必吞吃全地，把它踐踏咬碎。至於那十隻犄角，是從這國中將要興起的十個王；在他們之後將有另一個王興起，與先前的那些都不相同，必使三個王屈服。他必說話敵對至高者，折磨至高者的聖徒們，又企圖更改所定的時候和法令；聖徒們將被交在他的手中一期、二期、半期。然而庭審將要開始，那王的權柄必被奪去，除滅消亡，直到永遠。

「這王任意而行，自高自大，高抬自己超過一切神明，並說荒謬的話來敵對萬神之神；他事事順利，直到憤怒的時期終結，因為那被註定的事必成就。他不顧祖先的神明，不顧女人們所愛慕的神明，也不顧任何其他的神明，因為他高抬自己超過一切。他反而會榮耀一個堡壘之神，用金子、銀子、寶石和珍寶榮耀他祖先所不認識的神明。他必靠著外邦神明的幫助對堅固的堡壘採取行動，而對那些承認他的人，他把榮耀大大加給他們，使他們管轄許多人，又把土地分給他們作為報償。「末後的時期，南方王會與他衝撞。北方王必帶著戰車、馬兵和許多戰船，暴風般地攻擊他，並侵入列國，如洪水漫溢，縱橫穿越。他必侵入那榮美之地，許多國家將被傾倒，但是以東人和摩押人，亞捫子孫的首要人物必從他的手中被救出。他必伸手攻擊列國，連埃及地也不會逃脫。他將管轄埃及金銀寶藏和一切珍寶；利比亞人和庫實人都將跟隨他的腳步。然而，從東方、從北方必有消息使他惶恐，他就在極大的怒火中出兵，為要把許多人滅絕淨盡。他必在兩海之間的榮美聖山上搭起他的王宮帳幕，但他的結局將要來到，沒有人幫助他。

那六十二個『七』之後，受膏者必被剪除，他將一無所有。將要來一位領袖，他的民眾必毀滅這城和聖所，其結局必伴隨著洪流，必有戰爭直到末了；荒涼的事已經被註定了。

它的小腿是鐵的，它的腳有部分是鐵的，有部分是泥的。

如果任憑他這樣下去，大家都會信他，羅馬人就會來，奪取我們的聖地和國家！」

他的力量必強盛，卻不是出於自己的力量；他必帶來極不尋常的毀滅，他所做的都順利；他必毀滅強者和聖潔之民；
