so that the Levites( who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Then the Levites can come and eat. That’s because they won’t receive any part of the land as their share. The outsiders and widows who live in your towns can come. So can the children whose fathers have died. Everyone can have plenty to eat. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work.

Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates may come, eat, and be satisfied. And the LORD your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

人恩待贫弱者，就是借予耶和华；耶和华将照着他所行的偿还给他。

眷顾贫弱者的，是蒙福的！在灾祸的日子里，耶和华必搭救他。

不要忘记款待客旅，因为曾经有些人这样做，在无意中就招待了天使。

耶稣又对邀请他的人说：“你预备午餐或晚餐的时候，不要叫你的朋友、兄弟、亲戚或富有的邻居，免得他们也回请你，你就得了你的回报了。相反，你预备宴席的时候，要邀请那些贫穷的、残疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，这样你就蒙福了，因为他们没有可回报你的，而在义人复活的时候，你将得到回报。”

有人慷慨好施，反增添更多；有人该给不给，却导致缺乏。

你当以你的财物，以一切初熟的收成，荣耀耶和华；这样，你的仓库必充满，丰丰足足，你的榨酒池也必溢出新酒。

把你的粮食分给饥饿的人，把流浪的困苦人接到家中，见到赤身的人就给他衣服穿，不回避有需要的骨肉之亲。如果你这样做，你的光就必喷薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康复；你的公义必行在你前面，耶和华的荣耀必作你的后盾；那时你呼求，耶和华必回应；你呼救，他必说：‘我在这里。’如果你除去你当中的轭，除去对人的指摘和恶毒的言谈；如果你为饥饿的人献上身心，使困苦的人身心满足；那么，你的光就必在黑暗中升起，你的幽暗必明如正午；耶和华必一直引导你，在干旱之地使你身心满足，又使你的骨头强壮；你必像灌溉充足的园子，又像水流不绝的泉源。从你而出的人中，必有人重建古时的废墟之处；你必重立世世代代的根基；你必被称为‘破口的修补者’、‘住人街道的修复者’。

又有这话：播撒吝啬的人，也收获吝啬；播撒祝福的人，也收获祝福。每个人要照着心里预先定好的，不要为难，也不要勉强，因为神喜爱那乐意给与的人。神能使一切的恩典丰丰富富地临到你们，使你们总是在一切事上都能知足，在一切美善的工作上充实满溢。正如经上所记：“他施舍，赐予穷人；他的义行永远常存。”供应种子给撒种的，又供应粮食给人吃的那一位，将要供给并增加你们的种子，而且增多你们义行的果子，使你们在一切事上都得以富足，以致十分慷慨，就藉着我们生出对神的感谢之心。

在父神看来，纯洁而没有玷污的虔诚是这样的：照顾患难中的孤儿寡妇，并且保守自己不受世界的玷污。

不过你们当把里面的施舍给人，看哪，对你们来说一切就都洁净了。

不过你们要爱你们的敌人，要善待人；借出去，不指望任何偿还。这样，你们的报偿就大了，而且你们将成为至高者的儿女，因为他以仁慈待那些忘恩负义和邪恶的人。

万军之耶和华说：“你们要把当纳的十分之一全都带进库房，好使我的家中有粮食；藉此试验我是否会为你们打开天上的窗户，把祝福倾倒在你们身上，直到你们充足满溢。”万军之耶和华说：“我必为你们斥责吞噬者，使它不毁掉你们土地的出产，也不使你们田地中的葡萄树掉落果实。
