Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand.

Your children will be given to another nation. Day after day you will watch for them to come back. But you will only wear out your eyes. You won’t be able to help your children.

“你们生儿育女，却留不住一个，因为他们必被掳走。

并把犹大和耶路撒冷的居民卖给希腊人，使他们远离家乡。

我期盼你的应许实现，望眼欲穿。我说：“你何时才安慰我？”

我望眼欲穿地期盼你拯救我，实现你公义的应许。

有的说：“我们和我们的儿女人口众多，需要粮食来活命。”有的说：“因为饥荒的缘故，我们要将田地、葡萄园和房屋作抵押来获取粮食。”有的说：“我们要借钱才能缴纳王对我们的田地和葡萄园征收的税。我们和他们是同胞，我们的孩子就像他们的孩子。但现在我们的儿女要被迫成为仆婢，甚至我们的女儿有些已经沦为奴婢。我们却无能为力，因为我们的田地和葡萄园已经归别人了。”

人为了分产业而控告朋友，其子孙的眼睛要失明。

但恶人必眼目失明，无路可逃，他们的指望只有死亡。”

我哭得眼睛失明，心如刀割，肝胆欲碎，因为人民惨遭毁灭，儿童和婴孩昏倒在街头。

我连连呼救，已声嘶力竭；我期盼上帝的帮助，望眼欲穿。

锡安的百姓啊，你们要像分娩的妇人一样辗转呻吟，因为你们现在要离开这城，住在荒野，被掳到巴比伦。在那里，你们将得到解救；在那里，耶和华必从敌人手中救赎你们。

所以，我要使你们被掳到大马士革以外的地方。”这是耶和华说的，祂的名字是万军之上帝。

“妇女所生的，土地所产的，牛羊所生的都必受咒诅。

我要在这片土地上的各城门口用簸箕簸散我的子民，使他们丧掉儿女；我要灭绝他们，因为他们不思悔改。我要使他们的寡妇比海沙还多，使毁灭者在午间突然夺取青年的性命，以致母亲们陷入痛苦、惊恐中。生过七个孩子的母亲心力枯竭，奄奄一息。她羞愧难当，她的希望突然破灭，犹如白昼突然变成黑夜。我必使其余的人丧身在敌人刀下。这是耶和华说的。”

“人子啊，有一天我要夺去他们所喜悦、所夸耀、眼中所爱、心里所慕的堡垒，也要夺去他们的儿女。

“我像燕、鹤一样哀鸣，像鸽子一样呻吟；我举目望天，双眼疲倦。耶和华啊！我困苦不堪，求你保护我。

摩押啊，你大祸临头了！拜基抹神明的人啊，你们要灭亡了！基抹任由自己的儿子逃亡、女儿被亚摩利王西宏掳走。

此情此景使我们黯然神伤，泪眼模糊。

“你不可在这地方娶妻，也不可生儿育女。至于在这地方出生的孩子和他们的父母，耶和华说，‘他们必死于恶疾，无人哀悼，无人埋葬，他们好像地上的粪便。他们必死于战争和饥荒，尸首必成为飞鸟和走兽的食物。’”

我们望眼欲穿，盼望援军的到来，盼来的国家却无力拯救我们。

你们在万邦中将不得安宁，没有落脚之地，耶和华必使你们胆战心惊、目光呆滞、精神颓废。
