『倘若你不謹慎遵行寫在這書上的這律法之一切話，不敬畏這榮耀而可畏懼的名：「耶和華你的上帝」，

如爾不守此書所載法律之言、不畏爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、

如爾不守此書所錄律法諸言、爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、爾如不畏、

如爾不謹守遵行此書所載律法諸言、不畏主爾之天主、不畏其至尊可畏之名、

If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name— the Lord your God—

Be careful to follow all the words of this law. They are written in this scroll. Have respect for the glorious and wonderful name of the Lord your God. If you don’t,

“ If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,

我是耶和华，这就是我的名字。我不会把我的荣耀给假神，也不会把我当受的赞美给雕刻的偶像。

上帝对摩西说：“我是自有永有者。你要这样回答以色列人，‘那位自有永有者派我到你们这里。’”上帝又对摩西说：“你要告诉以色列人是我派遣你到他们那里，我是他们祖先的上帝耶和华，是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和华是我的名字，直到永远，世世代代的人都要这样称呼我。

祂说：“我的子民啊，听我说！以色列啊，我要指控你！我是上帝，是你的上帝。

要敬畏你们的上帝耶和华，事奉祂，凭祂的名起誓。

但你们掩耳不听，顽固不化，比你们的祖先更邪恶。耶利米啊，你将这番话告诉他们，他们也不会听；你向他们呼吁，他们也不会回应。你要对他们说，‘你们这些国民不听你们上帝耶和华的话，不肯受管教，口中毫无真理。

上帝又对摩西说：“我是耶和华，我曾以全能上帝的身份向亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各显现，但没有让他们知道我的名字是耶和华。

“他们撒谎说，‘耶和华不会管我们，我们必不会遇到灾祸、战争和饥荒。

“你们若不听从你们的上帝耶和华，不谨遵祂今天借我吩咐你们的一切诫命和律例，祂必使以下的咒诅临到你们。

我是你的上帝，我必与你同在，你不用惊慌也不用害怕。我必赐你力量，帮助你，用我公义的右手扶持你。’

耶和华在云中降临和摩西一同站在那里，宣告祂的名——耶和华。耶和华在摩西面前经过，并且宣告说：“我是耶和华，我是耶和华，是有怜悯和恩典的上帝，不轻易发怒，充满慈爱，无比信实，向千万人彰显慈爱，赦免罪恶和过犯，但决不免除罪责，必向子孙追讨父辈的罪债，直到三四代。”

让他们知道你是耶和华，唯有你是普天下的至高者。

利未人耶书亚、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼和毗他希雅说：“起来称颂你们的上帝耶和华，直到永永远远。耶和华啊，你荣耀的圣名当受称颂！愿你的名被尊崇，超过一切称颂和赞美！

“如果你们不听从我，不遵行我的这一切诫命；如果你们拒绝遵守我的律例，厌弃我的典章，不听从我的命令，破坏我与你们所立的约，

你们偷盗、谋杀、通奸、起假誓、向巴力献祭、拜素不认识的神明，然后来到这用来敬拜我的殿，站在我面前说自己安全了，以为可以继续做可憎之事。

愿祂荣耀的名永受称颂！愿普天下充满祂的荣耀。阿们！阿们！

那些只能杀害身体，不能毁灭灵魂的人，不用怕他们。但要畏惧那位有权将身体和灵魂一同毁灭在地狱里的上帝。

我们知道上帝说过：“申冤在我，我必报应。”祂又说：“主要审判祂的百姓。”落在永活上帝的手中是可怕的！

“我是你的上帝耶和华，曾把你领出埃及，使你不再受奴役。

许愿时说要献上羊群中的公羊，后来却拿伤残的来献给主，这种人该受咒诅！因为我是大君王，就是外族人也敬畏我的名。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

那么，既然我们承受的是一个不能被震动的国度，就要感恩，用虔诚和敬畏的心事奉上帝，讨祂喜悦。因为我们的上帝是烈火。
