All of you are standing here in order to enter into a covenant with the Lord your God. He is making the covenant with you today. He’s giving you his word.

为要你顺从耶和华你神今日与你所立的约，向你所起的誓。

为要使你进入耶和华—你上帝的约，就是耶和华—你上帝今日向你起誓所立的；

为要使你进入耶和华—你神的约，就是耶和华—你神今日向你起誓所立的；

为要接受你们的上帝耶和华与你们立的誓约。

为要叫你遵守耶和华你的神今日与你所立的约，和他向你所起的誓；

為要你順從耶和華－你神今日與你所立的約，向你所起的誓。

為要使你進入耶和華－你上帝的約，就是耶和華－你上帝今日向你起誓所立的；

為要使你進入耶和華－你神的約，就是耶和華－你神今日向你起誓所立的；

為要接受你們的上帝耶和華與你們立的誓約。

為要叫你遵守耶和華你的神今日與你所立的約，和他向你所起的誓；

要進一步去守永恆主你的上帝的約、他所宣誓的約就是永恆主你的上帝今日同你所立的約；

使爾與於爾上帝耶和華之約與誓、即其今日與爾所立者、

今日爾上帝耶和華發誓、爾可同盟、與之立約。

欲爾遵主爾天主之約、即今日主發誓與爾所立者、或作欲爾遵主爾之天主今日與爾所立之約及所立之誓

You are standing here in order to enter into a covenant with the Lord your God, a covenant the Lord is making with you this day and sealing with an oath,

so that you may enter into the sworn covenant of the Lord your God, which the Lord your God is making with you today,

You are standing here today to enter into the covenant of the Lord your God. The Lord is making this covenant, including the curses.

so that you may enter into the covenant of the LORD your God, which he is making with you today, so that you may enter into his oath

so that you may enter into the covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath which the Lord your God is making with you today,

that you may enter into covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath, which the Lord your God makes with you today,

that thou mayest enter into the covenant of Jehovah thy God, and into his oath, which Jehovah thy God maketh with thee this day;

so that you may enter into the covenant of the Lord your God, which He is making with you today, so that you may enter into His oath

That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:

so that you may enter by oath into the covenant the LORD your God is making with you today.

that you may enter into the covenant of Yahweh your God, and into his oath, which Yahweh your God makes with you today,

They made a covenant to obey the Lord, the God of their people. They would obey him with all their heart and soul.All those who wouldn’t obey the Lord, the God of Israel, would be killed. It wouldn’t matter how important they were. It wouldn’t matter whether they were men or women.They made a promise to the Lord. They praised him out loud. They shouted. They blew trumpets and horns.All the people of Judah were happy about the promise they had made. They turned to God with all their heart. When they did, they found him. So the Lord gave them peace and rest on every side.

Now obey me completely. Keep my covenant. If you do, then out of all the nations you will be my special treasure. The whole earth is mine.But you will be a kingdom of priests to serve me. You will be my holy nation.’ That is what you must tell the Israelites.”

I’m making this covenant and the promise that goes along with it. I’m making this covenant with you.

The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Mount Horeb.He didn’t make it only with our people of long ago. He also made it with us. In fact, he made it with all of us who are alive here today.

On that day Joshua made a covenant for the people. There at Shechem he reminded them of its rules and laws.

The rest of the people gathered together. They included the priests, the Levites and the men who guarded the gates. They included the musicians and temple servants. They also included all the people who separated themselves from the surrounding nations to obey the Law of God. All these men brought their wives with them. And they brought all their sons and daughters who were old enough to understand what was being agreed to.All the men joined the nobles of their people. They made a firm agreement. They made a promise and said they would be cursed if they didn’t keep it. They promised to follow the Law of God. It had been given through Moses, the servant of God. They promised to obey carefully all the commands, rules and laws of the Lord our Lord.

Then Jehoiada made a covenant between the Lord and the king and people. He had the king and people promise that they would be the Lord’ s people. Jehoiada also made a covenant between the king and the people.
