But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear.

But to this day the Lord hasn’t given you a mind that understands. He hasn’t given you eyes that see. He hasn’t given you ears that hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you minds that understand, nor eyes that see, nor ears that hear!

Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

Yet to this day the Lord has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear.

Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.

but Jehovah hath not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Yet to this day the Lord has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

But to this very day the LORD has not given you an understanding mind, perceptive eyes, or discerning ears!

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, Yahweh has made even both of them.

He said,“ Go, and tell this people,‘ You hear indeed, but don’t understand. You see indeed, but don’t perceive.’Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.”

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.

O Yahweh, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.

Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.

I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;that they all might be judged who didn’t believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.

He answered them,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says,‘ By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive:for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again; and I would heal them.’

saying,‘ Go to this people and say, in hearing, you will hear, but will in no way understand. In seeing, you will see, but will in no way perceive.For this people’s heart has grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing. Their eyes they have closed. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, then I would heal them.’

What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he didn’t obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.According as it is written,“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.”David says,“ Let their table be made a snare, a trap, a stumbling block, and a retribution to them.Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see. Always keep their backs bent.”

Let no man say when he is tempted,“ I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed.Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,
