这摩西就是百姓弃绝说‘谁立你作我们的首领和审判官’的；神却藉那在荆棘中显现之使者的手差派他作首领、作救赎的。

耶和华的使者从荆棘里火焰中向摩西显现。摩西观看，不料，荆棘被火烧着，却没有烧毁。摩西说：“我要过去看这大异象，这荆棘为何没有烧坏呢？”耶和华神见他过去要看，就从荆棘里呼叫说：“摩西！摩西！”他说：“我在这里。”

地和其中所充满的，世界和住在其间的，都属耶和华。

论到死人复活，你们没有念过摩西的书荆棘篇上所载的吗？神对摩西说：‘我是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。’

他们就为约瑟单摆了一席，为那些人又摆了一席，也为和约瑟同吃饭的埃及人另摆了一席，因为埃及人不可和希伯来人一同吃饭；那原是埃及人所厌恶的。

“在至高之处荣耀归与神！在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人。”

天属你，地也属你；世界和其中所充满的都为你所建立。

若有人对你们说：“这是献过祭的物”，就要为那告诉你们的人，并为良心的缘故不吃。

听见从但那里敌人的马喷鼻气，他的壮马发嘶声，全地就都震动；因为他们来吞灭这地和其上所有的，吞灭这城与其中的居民。

你们要赶紧上到我父亲那里，对他说：‘你儿子约瑟这样说：神使我作全埃及的主，请你下到我这里来，不要耽延。你和你的儿子孙子，连牛群羊群，并一切所有的，都可以住在歌珊地，与我相近。我要在那里奉养你；因为还有五年的饥荒，免得你和你的眷属，并一切所有的，都败落了。’

像这样圣洁、无邪恶、无玷污、远离罪人、高过诸天的大祭司，原是与我们合宜的。

有些米甸的商人从那里经过，哥哥们就把约瑟从坑里拉上来，讲定二十舍客勒银子，把约瑟卖给以实玛利人。他们就把约瑟带到埃及去了。

我若是饥饿，我不用告诉你，因为世界和其中所充满的都是我的。

又恐怕我因所得的启示甚大，就过于自高，所以有一根刺加在我肉体上，就是撒但的差役要攻击我，免得我过于自高。为这事，我三次求过主，叫这刺离开我。他对我说：“我的恩典够你用的，因为我的能力是在人的软弱上显得完全。”所以，我更喜欢夸自己的软弱，好叫基督的能力覆庇我。我为基督的缘故，就以软弱、凌辱、急难、逼迫、困苦为可喜乐的；因我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。

约瑟住在他主人埃及人的家中，耶和华与他同在，他就百事顺利。他主人见耶和华与他同在，又见耶和华使他手里所办的尽都顺利，

你父亲所祝的福胜过我祖先所祝的福，如永世的山岭，至极的边界；这些福必降在约瑟的头上，临到那与弟兄迥别之人的顶上。

“过了四十年，在西奈山的旷野，有一位天使从荆棘火焰中向摩西显现。摩西见了那异象，便觉希奇，正进前观看的时候，有主的声音说：‘我是你列祖的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。’摩西战战兢兢，不敢观看。主对他说：‘把你脚上的鞋脱下来，因为你所站之地是圣地。

因为地和其中所充满的都属乎主。
