This is for Judah. He said,“ Hear, Yahweh, the voice of Judah. Bring him in to his people. With his hands he contended for himself. You shall be a help against his adversaries.”

And this he said about Judah:“ Hear, Lord, the cry of Judah; bring him to his people. With his own hands he defends his cause. Oh, be his help against his foes!”

Here’s what Moses said about Judah.“ Lord, listen to Judah cry out. Bring him to his people. By his own power he stands up for himself. Lord, help him fight against his enemies!”

And this he said of Judah:“ Hear, O Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him in to his people. With your hands contend for him, and be a help against his adversaries.”

Moses said this about the tribe of Judah:“ O Lord, hear the cry of Judah and bring them together as a people. Give them strength to defend their cause; help them against their enemies!”

He said this about Judah: LORD, hear Judah’s cry and bring him to his people. He fights for his cause with his own hands, but may you be a help against his foes.

And this was regarding Judah; so he said:“ Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, And bring him to his people. With his hands he contended for them, And may You be a help against his adversaries.”

And this he said of Judah:“ Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, And bring him to his people; Let his hands be sufficient for him, And may You be a help against his enemies.”

And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Jehovah, the voice of Judah, And bring him in unto his people. With his hands he contended for himself; And thou shalt be a help against his adversaries.

He said this about Judah: Lord, hear Judah’s cry and bring him to his people. He fights for his cause with his own hands, but may You be a help against his foes.

And this[ is the blessing] of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help[ to him] from his enemies.

And this is the blessing to Judah. He said, Listen, O LORD, to Judah’s voice, and bring him to his people. May his power be great, and may you help him against his foes.

“ Judah, your brothers will praise you. Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies. Your father’s sons will bow down before you.Judah is a lion’s cub. From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down, he crouched as a lion, as a lioness. Who will rouse him up?The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.Binding his foal to the vine, his donkey’s colt to the choice vine; he has washed his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.His eyes will be red with wine, his teeth white with milk.

Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is profane and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a great name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more. The children of wickedness will not afflict them any more, as at the first,and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. I will cause you to rest from all your enemies. Moreover Yahweh tells you that Yahweh will make you a house.When your days are fulfilled, and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up your offspring after you, who will proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called“ The Word of God.”The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double- edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written,“ KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

After the death of Joshua, the children of Israel asked of Yahweh, saying,“ Who should go up for us first against the Canaanites, to fight against them?”Yahweh said,“ Judah shall go up. Behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.”Judah said to Simeon his brother,“ Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with you into your lot.” So Simeon went with him.Judah went up, and Yahweh delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand. They struck ten thousand men in Bezek.They found Adoni- Bezek in Bezek, and they fought against him. They struck the Canaanites and the Perizzites.But Adoni- Bezek fled. They pursued him, caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his big toes.Adoni- Bezek said,“ Seventy kings, having their thumbs and their big toes cut off, scavenged under my table. As I have done, so God has done to me.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

For from day to day men came to David to help him, until there was a great army, like God’s army.

But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’”

In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul,“ Flee as a bird to your mountain”?For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?Yahweh is in his holy temple. Yahweh is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.Yahweh examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence.On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.For Yahweh is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.

But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,

David inquired of Yahweh, saying,“ Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to David,“ Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;

Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron, and spoke, saying,“ Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come out to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.

“ Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me; and the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, behold, he comes!” says Yahweh of Armies.

Now there was long war between Saul’s house and David’s house. David grew stronger and stronger, but Saul’s house grew weaker and weaker.

For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Judah, about which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

Yahweh says to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”Yahweh will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.

Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.

The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!

When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then stir yourself up; for then Yahweh has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”

Jehoshaphat grew great exceedingly; and he built fortresses and store cities in Judah.He had many works in the cities of Judah; and men of war, mighty men of valor, in Jerusalem.This was the numbering of them according to their fathers’ houses: From Judah, the captains of thousands: Adnah the captain, and with him three hundred thousand mighty men of valor;and next to him Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred eighty thousand;and next to him Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself to Yahweh, and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.From Benjamin: Eliada, a mighty man of valor, and with him two hundred thousand armed with bow and shield;and next to him Jehozabad, and with him one hundred eighty thousand ready and prepared for war.These were those who waited on the king, in addition to those whom the king put in the fortified cities throughout all Judah.

The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
