The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

摩西写着说：“人若行那出于律法的义，就必因此活着。”

你们现今所看为羞耻的事，当日有什么果子呢？那些事的结局就是死。但现今，你们既从罪里得了释放，作了神的奴仆，就有成圣的果子，那结局就是永生。

你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。

他苦炼你，任你饥饿，将你和你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，使你知道，人活着不是单靠食物，乃是靠耶和华口里所出的一切话。

敬畏耶和华心存谦卑，就得富有、尊荣、生命为赏赐。

惟有你们专靠耶和华你们神的人，今日全都存活。

你们要论义人说：他必享福乐，因为要吃自己行为所结的果子。

你若是公义，还能加增他什么呢？他从你手里还接受什么呢？你的过恶或能害你这类的人；你的公义或能叫世人得益处。

你若有智慧，是与自己有益；你若亵慢，就必独自担当。

“以色列啊，现在耶和华你神向你所要的是什么呢？只要你敬畏耶和华你的神，遵行他的道，爱他，尽心尽性侍奉他，遵守他的诫命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，为要叫你得福。
