“你当知道，耶和华你神将这美地赐你为业，并不是因你的义；你本是硬着颈项的百姓。

你们要知道，耶和华赐给你们那佳美之地不是因为你们有好品德。其实你们是顽固不化的人。

你要知道，耶和华你的神把这美地赐给你作产业，并不是因着你的义；你本来是顽固的民族。

「你當知道，耶和華－你神將這美地賜你為業，並不是因你的義；你本是硬着頸項的百姓。

『故此你要知道永恆主你的上帝將這美好之地賜給你去取得它，並不是因你的美德；你本是脖子硬的人民。

當知爾上帝耶和華非為爾義、錫爾沃壤為業、爾乃強項之民、

然爾實強項不馴、爾當知爾上帝耶和華、非為爾義、錫爾腴壤、使爾據之、

爾當知主爾之天主非為爾善、以此美地賜爾為業、爾實為強項之民、

Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

The Lord your God is giving you this good land to take as your own. But you must understand that it isn’t because you are a godly nation. In fact, you are stubborn.

“ Know, therefore, that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stubborn people.

You must recognize that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land because you are good, for you are not— you are a stubborn people.

Understand that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

“ Know, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stubborn people.

Therefore understand that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

Know therefore, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

Understand, therefore, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is about to give you this good land as a possession, for you are a stubborn people!

Know therefore that Yahweh your God doesn’t give you this good land to possess for your righteousness, for you are a stiff- necked people.

因为我知道你们是悖逆的，是硬着颈项的。我今日还活着与你们同在，你们尚且悖逆耶和华，何况我死后呢？

所以你们要将心里的污秽除掉，不可再硬着颈项。

“耶和华又对我说：‘我看这百姓是硬着颈项的百姓。

“你们这硬着颈项、心与耳未受割礼的人，时常抗拒圣灵！你们的祖宗怎样，你们也怎样。

耶和华对摩西说：“我看这百姓真是硬着颈项的百姓。

主说：“早先的事，我从古时说明，已经出了我的口，也是我所指示的；我忽然行做，事便成就。因为我素来知道你是顽梗的，你的颈项是铁的；你的额是铜的。

领你到那流奶与蜜之地。我自己不同你们上去；因为你们是硬着颈项的百姓，恐怕我在路上把你们灭绝。”

你今日当知道，耶和华你的神在你前面过去，如同烈火，要灭绝他们，将他们制伏在你面前。这样，你就要照耶和华所说的赶出他们，使他们速速灭亡。“耶和华你的神将这些国民从你面前撵出以后，你心里不可说：‘耶和华将我领进来得这地是因我的义。’其实，耶和华将他们从你面前赶出去是因他们的恶。

说：“主啊，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你在我们中间同行，因为这是硬着颈项的百姓。又求你赦免我们的罪孽和罪恶，以我们为你的产业。”

不要像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、居心不正之辈，向着神，心不诚实。

这众子面无羞耻，心里刚硬。我差你往他们那里去，你要对他们说：主耶和华如此说。

尼布甲尼撒曾使他指着神起誓，他却背叛，强项硬心，不归服耶和华以色列的神。

他们却不肯听从，扭转肩头，塞耳不听，使心硬如金钢石，不听律法和万军之耶和华用灵藉从前的先知所说的话。故此，万军之耶和华大发烈怒。

现在不要像你们列祖硬着颈项，只要归顺耶和华，进入他的圣所，就是永远成圣的居所；又要侍奉耶和华你们的神，好使他的烈怒转离你们。

主耶和华说：以色列家啊，我为我名的缘故，不照着你们的恶行和你们的坏事待你们；你们就知道我是耶和华。”

律法本是外添的，叫过犯显多；只是罪在哪里显多，恩典就更显多了。就如罪作王叫人死；照样，恩典也藉着义作王，叫人因我们的主耶稣基督得永生。
