又積貯金銀、與列王諸國之珍寶、又得歌男歌女、及世人所樂者、以及妃嬪、

I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired male and female singers, and a harem as well— the delights of a man’s heart.

I stored up silver and gold for myself. I gathered up the treasures of kings and their kingdoms. I got some male and female singers. I also got many women for myself. Women delight the hearts of men.

I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the treasure of kings and provinces. I got singers, both men and women, and many concubines, the delight of the sons of man.

I collected great sums of silver and gold, the treasure of many kings and provinces. I hired wonderful singers, both men and women, and had many beautiful concubines. I had everything a man could desire!

於是，示巴女王將一百二十他連得金子和寶石，與極多的香料，送給所羅門王。她送給王的香料，以後奉來的不再有這樣多。（

僕人現在八十歲了，還能嘗出飲食的滋味、辨別美惡嗎？還能聽男女歌唱的聲音嗎？僕人何必累贅我主我王呢？

他們到了俄斐，從那裏得了四百二十他連得金子，運到所羅門王那裏。

所羅門每年所得的金子共有六百六十六他連得。

所羅門王用錘出來的金子打成擋牌二百面，每面用金子六百舍客勒；又用錘出來的金子打成盾牌三百面，每面用金子三百舍客勒，都放在黎巴嫩林宮裏。王用象牙製造一個大寶座，用精金包裹。寶座有六層臺階，又有金腳凳，與寶座相連。寶座兩旁有扶手，靠近扶手有兩個獅子站立。六層臺階上有十二個獅子站立，每層有兩個：左邊一個，右邊一個；在列國中沒有這樣做的。所羅門王一切的飲器都是金的，黎巴嫩林宮裏的一切器皿都是精金的。所羅門年間，銀子算不了甚麼。因為王的船隻與希蘭的僕人一同往他施去；他施船隻三年一次裝載金、銀、象牙、猿猴、孔雀回來。

彈琴鼓瑟唱消閑的歌曲，為自己製造樂器，如同大衛所造的；

希蘭給所羅門一百二十他連得金子。

所羅門王一切的飲器都是金子的。黎巴嫩林宮裏的一切器皿都是精金的。所羅門年間，銀子算不了甚麼。

要用角聲讚美他，鼓瑟彈琴讚美他！擊鼓跳舞讚美他！用絲弦的樂器和簫的聲音讚美他！用大響的鈸讚美他！用高聲的鈸讚美他！

因此各方、各國、各族的人民一聽見角、笛、琵琶、琴、瑟，和各樣樂器的聲音，就都俯伏敬拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

所羅門的兒子羅波安作猶大王。他登基的時候年四十一歲，在耶路撒冷，就是耶和華從以色列眾支派中所選擇立他名的城，作王十七年。羅波安的母親名叫拿瑪，是亞捫人。猶大人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，犯罪觸動他的憤恨，比他們列祖更甚。

他們打發小孩子出去，多如羊羣；他們的兒女踴躍跳舞。他們隨着琴鼓歌唱，又因簫聲歡喜。

大衛和眾首領分派亞薩、希幔，並耶杜頓的子孫彈琴、鼓瑟、敲鈸、唱歌。他們供職的人數記在下面：

你們一聽見角、笛、琵琶、琴、瑟、笙，和各樣樂器的聲音，就當俯伏敬拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

你們再聽見角、笛、琵琶、琴、瑟、笙，和各樣樂器的聲音，若俯伏敬拜我所造的像，卻還可以；若不敬拜，必立時扔在烈火的窰中，有何神能救你們脫離我手呢？」

羅波安王製造銅盾牌代替那金盾牌，交給守王宮門的護衛長看守。

此外，還有他們的僕婢七千三百三十七名，又有歌唱的男女二百名。

都歸他們父親指教，在耶和華的殿唱歌、敲鈸、彈琴、鼓瑟，辦神殿的事務。亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔都是王所命定的。

王用檀香木為耶和華殿和王宮做臺，又為歌唱的人做琴瑟；猶大地從來沒有見過這樣的。
