Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.

Wisdom provides safety, just as money provides safety. But here’s the advantage of wisdom. It guards those who have it.

For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.

Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only wisdom can save your life.

神哪，求你恩待我、恩待我，因為我的心投靠你！我投靠在你翅膀的蔭庇下，直到禍患過去。

在盛怒的日子裡財物沒有益處；唯有公義解救人脫離死亡。

謀略會看守你，聰慧會守護你，

耶和華的名是堅固的塔樓，義人跑進去就安穩在高處。富人的財物，是他堅固的城，在他幻想中，如高高的城牆。

他是你一生的保障，是豐盛的救恩、智慧和知識；敬畏耶和華是你的至寶。

因為藉著智慧，你的日子就增多，你生命的歲月也會增添。

窮人甚至被他的鄰人所恨惡；富人卻有許多喜愛他的人。

他們沒有求問我，就起身下埃及去，在法老的保護下避難，投靠在埃及的蔭庇下。

他為正直人留存真知，他是行事純全人的盾牌；

我知道他的命令就是永恆的生命。所以我所講的，正是照著父所告訴我的來講的。」

認識你——獨一的真神，並認識你所差派的耶穌基督，這就是永恆的生命。
