因為人類並不知道他自己的定時：魚怎樣被捉住於致禍的網裏，鳥怎樣被捉住於機檻中，人類當禍患時、災禍忽然降到他們身上時、人也怎樣被羅住。

人不自知其時、魚入於網、鳥罹於羅、患難猝臨之日、世人陷於其中、亦若是也、○

譬彼水族羽族、猝罹網羅、人遘飛殃、出於莫測者亦若是。

Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

No one knows when trouble will come to them. Fish are caught in nets. Birds are taken in traps. And people are trapped by hard times that come when they don’t expect them.

For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

For certainly no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

For indeed, a person does not know his time: like fish that are caught in a treacherous net and birds caught in a snare, so the sons of mankind are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

恶人犯罪，自陷网罗；惟独义人欢呼喜乐。

人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

凡遵守命令的，必不经历祸患；智慧人的心能辨明时候和定理。各样事务成就都有时候和定理，因为人的苦难重压在他身上。他不知道将来的事，因为将来如何，谁能告诉他呢？

“你们要谨慎，恐怕因贪食、醉酒，并今生的思虑累住你们的心，那日子就如同网罗忽然临到你们；因为那日子要这样临到全地上一切居住的人。你们要时时警醒，常常祈求，使你们能逃避这一切要来的事，得以站立在人子面前。”

家主若知道贼什么时候来，就必警醒，不容贼挖透房屋，这是你们所知道的。

因为断定罪名不立刻施刑，所以世人满心作恶。

你实在把他们安在滑地，使他们掉在沉沦之中。他们转眼之间成了何等的荒凉！他们被惊恐灭尽了。人睡醒了，怎样看梦；主啊，你醒了也必照样轻看他们的影像。

你为何使人如海中的鱼，又如没有管辖的爬物呢？他用钩钩住，用网捕获，用拉网聚集他们；因此，他欢喜快乐，就向网献祭，向网烧香，因他由此得肥美的份和富裕的食物。他岂可屡次倒空网罗，将列国的人时常杀戮，毫不顾惜呢？

挪亚的日子怎样，人子的日子也要怎样。那时候的人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，到挪亚进方舟的那日，洪水就来，把他们全都灭了。又好像罗得的日子；人又吃又喝，又买又卖，又耕种又盖造。到罗得出所多玛的那日，就有火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全都灭了。人子显现的日子也要这样。当那日，人在房上，器具在屋里，不要下来拿；人在田里，也不要回家。

少年人立刻跟随她，好像牛往宰杀之地；又像愚昧人带锁链去受刑罚，直等箭穿他的肝；如同雀鸟急入网罗，却不知是自丧己命。

所以，灾难必忽然临到他身；他必顷刻败坏，无法可治。

他要向恶人密布网罗；有烈火、硫磺、热风，作他们杯中的份。

说：“巴不得你在这日子知道关系你平安的事；无奈这事现在是隐藏的，叫你的眼看不出来。因为日子将到，你的仇敌必筑起土垒，周围环绕你，四面困住你，并要扫灭你和你里头的儿女，连一块石头也不留在石头上，因你不知道眷顾你的时候。”

神却对他说：‘无知的人哪，今夜必要你的灵魂；你所预备的要归谁呢？’

你们在外邦人中，应当品行端正，叫那些毁谤你们是作恶的，因看见你们的好行为，便在鉴察的日子归荣耀给神。

因为他被自己的脚陷入网中，走在缠人的网罗上。圈套必抓住他的脚跟；机关必擒获他。活扣为他藏在土内；羁绊为他藏在路上。

故此，这罪孽在你们身上，好像将要破裂凸出来的高墙，顷刻之间忽然坍塌；

但这些人好像没有灵性，生来就是畜类，以备捉拿宰杀的。他们毁谤所不晓得的事，正在败坏人的时候，自己必遭遇败坏。

因为他说：“在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；在拯救的日子，我搭救了你。”看哪，现在正是悦纳的时候！现在正是拯救的日子；

叫他们这已经被魔鬼任意掳去的，可以醒悟，脱离他的网罗。
