Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

又因爱我们，就按着自己的意旨所喜悦的，预定我们藉着耶稣基督得儿子的名分，

他按着自己旨意所喜悦的，预定我们藉着耶稣基督得儿子的名分，

上帝因为爱我们，就按照祂自己美好的旨意，预定我们借着耶稣基督得到做祂儿女的名分。

他又按着自己旨意所喜悦的，预定我们藉着耶稣基督得儿子的名分，

照着自己心愿的美意，预定我们藉着耶稣基督得着儿子的名份，归于他自己，

又因愛我們，就按着自己的意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉着耶穌基督得兒子的名分，

他按着自己旨意所喜悅的，預定我們藉着耶穌基督得兒子的名分，

他按着自己旨意所喜悅的，預定我們藉着耶穌基督得兒子的名分，

上帝因為愛我們，就按照祂自己美好的旨意，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得到作祂兒女的名分。

他又按著自己旨意所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，

他按着自己旨意所喜悅的、豫定我們藉着耶穌基督得了被立為子的名分、而歸於他，

照著自己心願的美意，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得著兒子的名份，歸於他自己，

依厥善旨、以愛預定我儕、由耶穌基督得為其子、

依厥善意、念耶穌基督、預定我儕為子、

又按其旨、預定我儕由耶穌基督得為其子、

蓋天主秉其仁慈、隨其意之所悅預定吾人緣耶穌基督、得為天主之眾嗣、

he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

So he decided long ago to adopt us. He adopted us as his children with all the rights children have. He did it because of what Jesus Christ has done. It pleased God to do it.

he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will,

He did this by predestining us to adoption as his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of his will–

having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate[ to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with[ him], that we may be also glorified together.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,[ even] to them that believe on his name:

And not only[ they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption,[ to wit], the redemption of our body.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected[ us], and we gave[ them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of[ this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of[ his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:

But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass,[ that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye[ are] not my people,[ there] it shall be said unto them,[ Ye are] the sons of the living God.

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

( For[ the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.What shall we say then?[ Is there] unrighteousness with God? God forbid.For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.So then[ it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of[ his] good pleasure.

Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou[ art] the guide of my youth?

And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and[ to] my God, and your God.

For it became him, for whom[ are] all things, and by whom[ are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified[ are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas[ is] here.

Paul, called[ to be] an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes[ our] brother,

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
