So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,

由此可見，你們不再是外人，或寄居的；你們是聖徒的同國之民，是神家裡的人，

如是爾不復為外人、為客旅、乃與聖徒同籍、為上帝之眷屬、

於是、爾曹不復為外邦異家、乃與聖徒一邦、與上帝之人一家、

如此、爾曹不復為外人、不復為客旅、乃與聖徒為一邦、為天主一家之人、

因此、爾等已不復為外人或賓旅、爾等與諸聖同為天國之公民、聖宅之家人。

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household,

So you are no longer outsiders and strangers. You are citizens together with God’s people. You are also members of God’s family.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.

So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household,

( See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children– and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know him.

These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.

The first foundation is jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.And the twelve gates are twelve pearls– each one of the gates is made from just one pearl! The main street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass.Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God– the All- Powerful– and the Lamb are its temple.The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it.Its gates will never be closed during the day( and there will be no night there).They will bring the grandeur and the wealth of the nations into it,

from whom every family in heaven and on the earth is named.

that you were at that time without the Messiah, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
