Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem every firstborn among your sons.

By sacrificing a lamb, buy back every male donkey born first to its mother. But if you don’t buy the donkey back, break its neck. Buy back every oldest son.

Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. Every firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.

A firstborn donkey may be bought back from the Lord by presenting a lamb or young goat in its place. But if you do not buy it back, you must break its neck. However, you must buy back every firstborn son.

這些人是沒有同婦女在一起而沾染污穢的；他們是童身。這些人是無論羔羊往哪裏去、都跟從羔羊的。這些人是從人間買出來、做初熟果子獻與上帝和羔羊的。

至於頭胎的以色列人比利未人多餘了二百七十三個；這些人之被替贖、你要按人丁五舍客勒五舍客勒地去收取，按聖所的舍客勒取：一舍客勒是二十季拉；把多餘之人被替贖的銀子交給亞倫和他的兒子們。』於是摩西取了那替贖的銀子、從那比利未人多餘之人所被替贖的、從頭胎的以色列人取了銀子、一千三百六十五舍客勒，按聖所的舍客勒。摩西照永恆主所吩咐的、把被替贖的銀子交給亞倫和他的兒子們，正如永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

於是摩西把以色列眾長老召了來，對他們說：『你們要按着家口挑取羊羔，把這逾越節的羊羔宰了。

你們要告訴以色列全會眾說：本月十日、他們要取小羊，各按父系的家屬，一家一隻。
