大卫打死了那非利士人，同众人回来的时候，妇女们从以色列各城里出来，欢欢喜喜，打鼓击磬，歌唱跳舞，迎接扫罗王。

歌唱的行在前，作乐的随在后，都在击鼓的童女中间。

有一位女先知名叫底波拉，是拉比多的妻，当时作以色列的士师。

大卫和以色列的全家在耶和华面前，用松木制造的各样乐器和琴、瑟、鼓、钹、锣，作乐跳舞。
