The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.

The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon.Planted in the house of the LORD, they thrive in the courts of our God.They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green,

Also, the LORD will provide what is good, and our land will yield its crops.

The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; the desert will rejoice and blossom like a wildflower.It will blossom abundantly and will also rejoice with joy and singing. All nations will serve him, his son, and his grandson until the time for his own land comes, and then many nations and great kings will enslave him.

On that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of Israel’s survivors.

All kinds of trees providing food will grow along both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fresh fruit because the water comes from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be used for eating and their leaves for healing.”

They will know that I am the LORD when I make the land a desolate waste because of all the detestable acts they have committed.’

For many nations and great kings will enslave them, and I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.’”

For long ago I broke your yoke; I tore off your chains. You insisted,“ I will not serve!” On every high hill and under every green tree you lay down like a prostitute.

“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Look, I am against the shepherds. I will demand my flock from them and prevent them from shepherding the flock. The shepherds will no longer feed themselves, for I will rescue my flock from their mouths so that they will not be food for them.
