Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

主耶和华如此说：全地欢乐的时候，我必使你荒凉。

主永恆主這麼說：正當遍地歡喜的時候，我必使你淒涼。

主耶和華曰、全地歡樂之際、我必使爾荒涼、

主耶和華曰、萬姓臚歡之際、必俾爾土、忽變荒蕪、

主天主如是云、全地正歡樂之時、我必使爾忽變荒蕪、

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

The Lord and King says,“ The whole earth will be glad. But I will make your land empty.

Thus says the Lord God: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The whole world will rejoice when I make you desolate.

“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: While the whole world rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

This is what the Lord God says:“ As all the earth rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ The whole earth will rejoice when I make you desolate.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

“ This is what the Lord God says: While the whole world rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

This is what the sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

The Lord Yahweh says:“ When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

The whole earth is at rest,[ and] is quiet: they break forth into singing.Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee,[ and] the cedars of Lebanon,[ saying], Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Then the heaven and the earth, and all that[ is] therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
