我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

暴行成了惩罚邪恶的杖，以色列人必没有一个能够存留，他们的财富和尊荣必不复存在。时候到了，日子近了，买主不要欢乐，卖主也不要忧愁，因为烈怒临到了所有的人。

主耶和华说，‘我要向这地方的人、牲畜、田野的树木和地里的出产发怒，发烈怒，如无法熄灭的火。’”

耶和华啊，我怒你所怒，无法容忍。耶和华说：“你把我的怒气发向街头的孩童和聚集成群的青年。丈夫、妻子和老人都要一同被掳。

“要在大地上竖起旌旗，在列国吹响号角，让他们预备攻打巴比伦。要召集亚拉腊人、米尼人、亚实基拿人，使他们派遣将领率骑兵如蝗虫一样铺天盖地而来，攻打巴比伦。

“便雅悯人啊，你们要逃离耶路撒冷！你们要在提哥亚吹响号角，在伯·哈基琳发出警报，因为有大灾难从北方逼近。

看啊，耶和华必摧毁大地，使大地荒凉。祂毁坏地面，驱散万民。那时，祭司和百姓，主人和仆人，主母和婢女，买的和卖的，贷的和借的，债主和债户都必同遭厄运。大地必完全毁坏，一片荒凉。这是耶和华说的。大地必衰残枯干，世界必衰败荒凉，世上的权贵也必败落。大地被世人玷污，他们违犯律法，不守律例，背弃永远的约。所以大地必遭受咒诅，世人必因罪而受惩罚。他们必被焚烧，所剩无几。葡萄树枯萎，新酒停产，欢乐的人都发出悲叹。

杀戮者已来到旷野中光秃的山岭，耶和华使刀剑横扫全境，无人幸免。
