knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

知人非恃法而行、乃信耶穌基督稱義、故信基督耶穌、欲因信而稱義、非恃法而行焉、恃法而行者、無人稱義也、

既知人得稱義非由行律法、乃由信耶穌基督、故我儕亦信耶穌基督、欲由信基督稱義、不由行律法、蓋無人由行律法得稱義也、

雖然、吾人既知人之成義、非憑律法、惟憑篤信基督、故毅然惟基督是信、亦欲緣篤信基督、不恃律法、而成義耳。無他、血氣之倫、未有僅憑遵行律法、而成義者也。

know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

Here is what we know. No one is made right with God by obeying the law. It is by believing in Jesus Christ. So we too have put our faith in Christ Jesus. This is so we can be made right with God by believing in Christ. We are not made right by obeying the law. That’s because no one can be made right with God by obeying the law.

yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.”

and yet because we know that a person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we ourselves have believed in Christ Jesus. This was so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.

nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;

Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.

knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for youwho through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:

For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness,for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,“ The just shall live by faith.”

whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,receiving the end of your faith— the salvation of your souls.

If I am condemned, Why then do I labor in vain?

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

“ Truly I know it is so, But how can a man be righteous before God?If one wished to contend with Him, He could not answer Him one time out of a thousand.

How then can man be righteous before God? Or how can he be pure who is born of a woman?

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

And I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” So he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying,“ Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”He said to him,“ What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”So he answered and said,“‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and‘ your neighbor as yourself.’”And He said to him,“ You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus,“ And who is my neighbor?”

but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead,who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for“ the just shall live by faith.”Yet the law is not of faith, but“ the man who does them shall live by them.”Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us( for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

But Simon Peter answered Him,“ Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
