For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

我若復建素所毀者、則自表為干律者矣、

若我素毀者、今復建之、則示己為罪人、

我素所毀者、若復建之、則視己為罪人、

倘使吾所破壞者、吾又從而建設之、是吾自承為犯法之人矣。

If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker.

Suppose I build again what I had destroyed. Then I would really be breaking the law.

For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor.

Rather, I am a sinner if I rebuild the old system of law I already tore down.

If I rebuild those things that I tore down, I show myself to be a lawbreaker.

For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I prove myself to be a wrongdoer.

For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a transgressor.

But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?You observe days and months and seasons and years.I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you. Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died.

And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.

And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in( who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage),to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
