Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.

你們這自誇是不好的。豈不知一點麵酵能使全團發起來嗎？

因為真受割禮的，乃是我們這以神的靈敬拜、在基督耶穌裏誇口、不靠着肉體的。

你稱為猶太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神誇口；既從律法中受了教訓，就曉得神的旨意，也能分別是非；又深信自己是給瞎子領路的，是黑暗中人的光，是蠢笨人的師傅，是小孩子的先生，在律法上有知識和真理的模範。你既是教導別人，還不教導自己嗎？你講說人不可偷竊，自己還偷竊嗎？你說人不可姦淫，自己還姦淫嗎？你厭惡偶像，自己還偷竊廟中之物嗎？你指着律法誇口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神嗎？神的名在外邦人中，因你們受了褻瀆，正如經上所記的。你若是行律法的，割禮固然於你有益；若是犯律法的，你的割禮就算不得割禮。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們走遍洋海陸地，勾引一個人入教，既入了教，卻使他作地獄之子，比你們還加倍。

所以無論誰，都不可拿人誇口，因為萬有全是你們的。

凡他們所吩咐你們的，你們都要謹守遵行。但不要效法他們的行為；因為他們能說，不能行。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們將薄荷、茴香、芹菜獻上十分之一，那律法上更重的事，就是公義、憐憫、信實，反倒不行了。這更重的是你們當行的；那也是不可不行的。

他們應許人得以自由，自己卻作敗壞的奴僕，因為人被誰制伏就是誰的奴僕。

這卻怎麼樣呢？我們比他們強嗎？決不是的！因我們已經證明：猶太人和希臘人都在罪惡之下。就如經上所記：沒有義人，連一個也沒有。沒有明白的；沒有尋求神的；都是偏離正路，一同變為無用。沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓；他們用舌頭弄詭詐，嘴唇裏有虺蛇的毒氣，滿口是咒罵苦毒。殺人流血，他們的腳飛跑，所經過的路便行殘害暴虐的事。平安的路，他們未曾知道；他們眼中不怕神。我們曉得律法上的話都是對律法以下之人說的，好塞住各人的口，叫普世的人都伏在神審判之下。

既有好些人憑着血氣自誇，我也要自誇了。
