主使日發光於晝、定月與星發光於夜、使海水洶湧、波浪翻騰、名為萬有之主、主如是云、

其來之時、地震天動、日月昏暗、星辰無光、

既啟第六印、我觀之、見地大震、日黑如褐、月變如血、

當吹角、在月朔、在月望、在我守節筵之日、

爾誕生以來、曾命晨光、曾定黎明之處乎、曾命光明普照地之四極、使地上惡人咸藏匿乎、光明照地、地面變新、如印印泥、萬物出現、若衣華服、

日月星辰、必有異兆、地上諸國、困苦顛沛、海波澎湃、人思將臨於世之事、而恐懼喪膽、因天象震動故也、

爾能繫昴星之結乎、能解參星之帶乎、能循時引導十二宮乎、使斗與其屬星旋轉乎、

主如是云、我所立晝夜之約、爾若能廢、使晝夜失時、

日昏暗、殿幔中裂為二、

月朔、必獻牡犢一、羔羊六、牡綿羊一、俱須無殘疾、

曰、甫生猶太人之王何在、我儕在東方見其星、特來拜之、

諸天述說主之榮耀、穹蒼傳揚主手所作、此日傳於彼日、此夜傳於彼夜、無言無語、亦無聲音可聞、聲音卻流通全地、言語卻傳至地極、主於其間為日設幕、日如新娶者出自洞房、又如勇士歡然趨道、出自天之此邊、運行至天之彼邊、無物不受其和煦、

彼開大淵之坑、坑中遂出煙、如洪爐之煙、日與天空因坑煙而暗、

第四天使吹角、日三分之一、月三分之一、星辰三分之一、皆陰蔽、陰蔽原文作被擊致日月星三分之一昏暗、晝三分之一無光、夜亦如是、

其軍旅豈能數乎、其光明誰不被照、
