God blessed them and said to them,“ Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

上帝賜福給挪亞和他的兒子們，對他們說：「你們要生養眾多，遍佈地面。

創造諸天、塑造和建立大地給人居住、沒有使地荒涼的耶和華上帝說：「我是耶和華，是獨一無二的上帝。

上帝賜福給這一切生物，說：「水族要生養繁殖，充滿海洋，禽鳥也要在地上多多地繁殖。」

若不是耶和華建造房屋，建造者的工作都是徒勞。若不是耶和華保護城池，守城者保持警覺也是徒然。你早起晚睡，為生活操勞也是徒然，唯有耶和華所愛的人才能安眠。兒女是耶和華所賜的禮物，孩子是祂所給的賞賜。人年輕時生的兒女猶如戰士手中的箭。袋中裝滿了箭的人有福了！他們在城門與仇敵爭論時，必不致蒙羞。

你要把方舟裡的飛禽走獸及爬蟲等所有動物都帶出來，讓牠們在地上多多繁殖。」

你妻子在家中生養眾多，像結實纍纍的葡萄樹，你的桌子周圍坐滿了你的兒女，如同橄欖樹苗。這就是敬畏耶和華的人所蒙的福氣。

我必賜福給你，使你的後裔多如天上的星和海邊的沙。你的後裔必佔領仇敵的城池，天下萬國必因你的後裔而蒙福，因為你聽從了我的話。』」

雅比斯向以色列的上帝禱告說：「願你賜福給我，擴大我的疆土，與我同在，使我遠離患難和痛苦。」上帝答應了他的祈求。

祂賜福給他們，使他們人丁興旺，牲口有增無減。

我必賜福給她，讓她為你生一個兒子。她必成為萬族的母親，萬民的君王必從她而出。」

至於以實瑪利，我已聽見你的祈求，我必賜福給他，使他的後代極其興旺昌盛。他必做十二個族長的父親，我必使他成為大國。

六子是亞米利，七子是以薩迦，八子是毗烏利太。上帝特別賜福俄別·以東。

當天晚上，耶和華向他顯現說：「我是你父親亞伯拉罕的上帝。你不用懼怕，因為我與你同在。為了我僕人亞伯拉罕的緣故，我必賜福給你，使你子孫眾多。」

你父親的上帝必幫助你，全能者必賜你天上的恩澤、地上的百福，使你子孫興旺、牛羊滿圈。

以掃看見跟在雅各後面的婦女和孩子，就問：「這些和你同行的是誰？」雅各說：「這些孩子是上帝施恩賜給你僕人的。」

你寄居在這裡，我必與你同在，賜福給你，因為我必把這些土地賜給你和你的後代，堅立我對你父親亞伯拉罕的誓約。我必使你的後代多如繁星，將這些土地都賜給他們，天下萬國必因你的後裔而蒙福。

並為利百加祝福，說：「我們的妹妹啊，願你成為千萬人之母！願你的後代戰勝仇敵！」

願天地都讚美祂，願海和其中的一切都讚美祂！

耶和華賜給約伯晚年的福分比起初更多：他有一萬四千隻羊、六千隻駱駝、一千對牛和一千頭母驢。

禁止人結婚和吃某些食物。其實那些食物是上帝創造的，為了讓相信並且明白真理的人存感恩的心領受。
