神說：“天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來！”事就這樣成了。

And God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.

God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place. Let dry ground appear.” And that’s exactly what happened.

And God said,“ Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.

Then God said,“ Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear.” And that is what happened.

Then God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.

Then God said,“ Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.

他們故意忘記這事：在太古的時候，因著神的話，就有了天，和從水而出、藉水而成的地。

‘你們連我都不懼怕嗎？在我面前你們也不戰兢嗎？’這是耶和華的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永遠的界限，海就不能越過；波浪翻騰，卻不能漫過；怒濤澎湃，仍無法逾越。

海洋屬他，因為是他創造的，陸地也是他的手造成的。

他回答說：“我是希伯來人，我敬畏耶和華天上的神，就是那創造海洋和陸地的。”

江河向海裡流，海卻不滿溢；江河之水歸回本源，循環流轉。

他把海水聚集成壘（“成壘”或譯：“在皮袋裡”），把深海安放在庫房中。

他上使穹蒼堅固，下使深淵的水泉穩定；他為海洋定出界限，海水不能越過他的命令，他又劃定大地的根基；

在水面劃出界限，直到光與暗的交界。

海水沖出如嬰孩出母胎，那時誰用門把海水關閉呢？是我以雲彩當作海的衣服，以幽暗當作包裹海的布；我為海定界限，又安置門閂和門戶，說：‘你只可到這裡，不可越過，你狂傲的波浪要在這裡止住。’

地和地上所充滿的，世界和住在世上的，都是屬於耶和華的。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）因為他把地奠定在海上，使世界安定在眾水之上。

指著那活到永永遠遠，創造天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物的神起誓，說：“必不再延遲了！

你把大地堅立在根基上，使地永永遠遠不動搖。你用深水像衣服一般覆蓋大地，使眾水高過群山。因你的斥責，水就退去；因你的雷聲，水就奔逃。眾水流經群山，向下流往眾谷，流到你為它們指定的地方。你定了界限，使眾水不能越過；它們不再轉回掩蓋大地。

要稱謝那用智慧造成諸天的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那鋪張大地在水上的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。

你在水上立起你樓閣的棟梁；你以雲彩為戰車；乘駕風的翅膀而行。

他把北極鋪在空間，把地球掛在太空。
