Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot( Haran’s son), and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they set out together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan. But when they came to Haran, they settled there.

Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there.

Terah left Ur in Babylon. He took with him his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran. Terah also took his daughter- in- law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram. All of them left together to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they made their home there.

Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife, and they went forth together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there.

One day Terah took his son Abram, his daughter in law Sarai( his son Abram’s wife), and his grandson Lot( his son Haran’s child) and moved away from Ur of the Chaldeans. He was headed for the land of Canaan, but they stopped at Haran and settled there.

You are Yahweh, the God who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans, and changed his name to Abraham.

“ Brothers and fathers,” he said,“ listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he settled in Haran,and said to him: Get out of your country and away from your relatives, and come to the land that I will show you.“ Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. From there, after his father died, God had him move to this land you now live in.

So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran.

He also said to him,“ I am Yahweh who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

The servant took 10 of his master’s camels and departed with all kinds of his master’s goods in hand. Then he set out for Nahor’s town Aram-naharaim.

Terah lived 205 years and died in Haran.The Lord said to Abram: Go out from your land, your relatives, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.

Joshua said to all the people,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:‘ Long ago your ancestors, including Terah, the father of Abraham and Nahor, lived beyond the Euphrates River and worshiped other gods.But I took your father Abraham from the region beyond the Euphrates River, led him throughout the land of Canaan, and multiplied his descendants. I gave him Isaac,

The Canaanite border went from Sidon going toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and going toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim as far as Lasha.

So now, my son, listen to me. Flee at once to my brother Laban in Haran,

By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he was going.

Jacob asked the men at the well,“ My brothers! Where are you from?”“ We’re from Haran,” they answered.“ Do you know Laban grandson of Nahor?” Jacob asked them. They answered,“ We know him.”

Terah lived 70 years and fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran.These are the family records of Terah. Terah fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran, and Haran fathered Lot.Haran died in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans, during his father Terah’s lifetime.

Before he had finished speaking, there was Rebekah— daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor— coming with a jug on her shoulder.
