我將錫嘏、賜之生子、為群民母、列王由之出。

我必賜之以福、使之從爾生子、我必賜之以福、使為列族之母、列邦之王必由彼出、

I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”

I will give her my blessing. You can be sure that I will give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations. Kings of nations will come from her.”

神又对他说：“我是全能的神；你要生养众多，将来有一族和多国的民从你而生，又有君王从你而出。

我必使你的后裔极其繁多；国度从你而立，君王从你而出。

我必叫你成为大国。我必赐福给你，叫你的名为大；你也要叫别人得福。

三人中有一位说：“到明年这时候，我必要回到你这里；你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子。”撒拉在那人后边的帐棚门口也听见了这话。亚伯拉罕和撒拉年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已断绝了。撒拉心里暗笑，说：“我既已衰败，我主也老迈，岂能有这喜事呢？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么暗笑，说：‘我既已年老，果真能生养吗？’耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到了日期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。”

因为所应许的话是这样说：“到明年这时候我要来，撒拉必生一个儿子。”

就如撒拉听从亚伯拉罕，称他为主。你们若行善，不因恐吓而害怕，便是撒拉的女儿了。

但那在上的耶路撒冷是自主的，她是我们的母。因为经上记着：“不怀孕、不生养的，你要欢乐；未曾经过产难的，你要高声欢呼；因为没有丈夫的，比有丈夫的儿女更多。”弟兄们，我们是凭着应许作儿女，如同以撒一样。当时，那按着血气生的，逼迫了那按着圣灵生的，现在也是这样。然而经上是怎么说的呢？是说：“把使女和她儿子赶出去！因为使女的儿子不可与自主妇人的儿子一同承受产业。”弟兄们，这样看来，我们不是使女的儿女，乃是自主妇人的儿女了。

神就赐福给他们，又对他们说：“要生养众多，遍满地面，治理这地，也要管理海里的鱼、空中的鸟，和地上各样行动的活物。”

他们就给利百加祝福说：我们的妹子啊，愿你作千万人的母！愿你的后裔得着仇敌的城门！

列王必作你的养父；王后必作你的乳母。他们必将脸伏地，向你下拜，并舔你脚上的尘土。你便知道我是耶和华；等候我的必不致羞愧。”
