And he said,“ I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

那人说：“我在园子里听见你的声音就害怕，因为我是赤身的；于是我躲藏了。”

他說：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我便藏了。」

他說：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我就藏了起來。」

他說：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我就藏了起來。」

那人說：「我聽見你在園中行走的聲音，就害怕得躲了起來，因為我赤身露體！」

那人說：「我在園子裡聽見你的聲音就害怕，因為我是赤身的；於是我躲藏了。」

曰、我聞爾聲於囿、以我裸故、畏而自匿、

曰、我聞爾聲於囿、以我裸故、畏而自匿。

曰、我聞爾聲於園中、以我裸體故、遂畏而自匿、

He answered,“ I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

“ I heard you in the garden,” the man answered.“ I was afraid, because I was naked. So I hid.”

And he said,“ I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”

He replied,“ I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

He said,“ I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”

So he said,“ I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And he said,“ I heard You in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I[ was] naked; and I hid myself.

The man replied,“ I heard you moving about in the orchard, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

The man said,“ I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; so I hid myself.”

Both the man and his wife were naked, yet felt no shame.

Who was it you dreaded and feared, so that you lied and didn’t remember me or take it to heart? I have kept silent for a long time, haven’t I? So you do not fear me.

I tremble in awe of you; I fear your judgments.

Therefore I am terrified in his presence; when I consider this, I am afraid of him.

whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows all things.

Then he continued,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

Your nakedness will be uncovered, and your disgrace will be exposed. I will take vengeance; I will spare no one.”

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

For you say,‘ I’m rich; I have become wealthy and need nothing,’ and you don’t realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.I advise you to buy from me gold refined in the fire so that you may be rich, white clothes so that you may be dressed and your shameful nakedness not be exposed, and ointment to spread on your eyes so that you may see.

The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling seizes the ungodly:“ Who among us can dwell with a consuming fire? Who among us can dwell with ever-burning flames?”

Moses saw that the people were out of control, for Aaron had let them get out of control, making them a laughingstock to their enemies.

“ Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who is alert and remains clothed so that he may not go around naked and people see his shame.”
