The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God’s commandments and hold Jesus’ testimony.

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.They didn’t prevail. No place was found for them any more in heaven.The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time.”When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it:“ I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.

Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

Yahweh sent venomous snakes among the people, and they bit the people. Many people of Israel died.The people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against Yahweh and against you. Pray to Yahweh, that he take away the serpents from us.” Moses prayed for the people.

Therefore I will give him a portion with the great. He will divide the plunder with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death and was counted with the transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter? For Yahweh has created a new thing in the earth: a woman will encompass a man.”

Therefore he says,“ When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”

Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let’s go from here.

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Now is the judgment of this world. Now the prince of this world will be cast out.And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry afterward.The tempter came and said to him,“ If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”But he answered,“ It is written,‘ Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”Then the devil took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple,and said to him,“ If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,‘ He will command his angels concerning you.’ and,‘ On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”Jesus said to him,“ Again, it is written,‘ You shall not test the Lord, your God.’”Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.He said to him,“ I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”Then Jesus said to him,“ Get behind me, Satan! For it is written,‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”

I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed.”After these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.The seven angels who had the seven plagues came out, clothed with pure, bright linen, and wearing golden sashes around their breasts.

You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna?

Dan will be a serpent on the trail, an adder in the path, That bites the horse’s heels, so that his rider falls backward.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them,“ You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

“ Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit.”“ The poison of vipers is under their lips.”

Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.

And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison,and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

After the sixty- two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another,“ No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped from the sea, yet Justice has not allowed to live.”However he shook off the creature into the fire, and wasn’t harmed.But they expected that he would have swollen or fallen down dead suddenly, but when they watched for a long time and saw nothing bad happen to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
