Then the Lord God said,“ Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

耶和华神说：“那人已经与我们相似，能知道善恶；现在恐怕他伸手又摘生命树的果子吃，就永远活着。”

耶和华上帝说：“看哪，那人已经像我们中间的一个，知道善恶，现在恐怕他又伸手摘生命树所出的来吃，就永远活着。”

耶和华神说：“看哪，那人已经像我们中间的一个，知道善恶，现在恐怕他又伸手摘生命树所出的来吃，就永远活着。”

耶和华上帝说：“看啊，那人已经与我们相似，能分辨善恶。现在，恐怕他会伸手去摘生命树的果子吃，那样他就会永远活着。”

耶和华神说：“那人和我们中间的一个相似，能知善恶；现在恐怕他伸出手来，摘取生命树上的果子吃，就永远活着。”

耶和华神说：“看哪，那人已经与我们相似，知道善恶；现在恐怕他又伸出手，取生命树的果实来吃，那样他就会永远活着。”

耶和華神說：「那人已經與我們相似，能知道善惡；現在恐怕他伸手又摘生命樹的果子吃，就永遠活着。」

永恆主上帝說：『看哪，那人既像我們中間的一個、曉得分別善惡；現在恐怕他伸出手來、也摘取生命樹的果子喫，就永遠活着。』

耶和華神說：「看哪，那人已經與我們相似，知道善惡；現在恐怕他又伸出手，取生命樹的果實來吃，那樣他就會永遠活著。」

耶和華上帝曰、斯人能別善惡、彷彿我儕、恐其舉手、亦取生命樹果、食之而永生、

耶和華上帝曰、人能別善惡、彷佛我儕、恐其舉手、亦折生命樹、食之而永生、

耶和華天主曰、人已能別善惡、彷彿我儕、恐其舉手亦摘生命樹之果、食而永生、

And the Lord God said,“ The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

The Lord God said,“ Just like one of us, the man can now tell the difference between good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out and pick fruit from the tree of life and eat it. If he does, he will live forever.”

Then the Lord God said,“ Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—”

Then the Lord God said,“ Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!”

The LORD God said,“ Since the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not reach out, take from the tree of life, eat, and live forever.”

Then the Lord God said,“ Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

And Jehovah God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever—

The Lord God said,“ Since man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil, he must not reach out, take from the tree of life, eat, and live forever.”

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

And the LORD God said,“ Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Yahweh God said,“ Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—”

“ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Then God said,“ Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her.

For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

And the Lord said,“ Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

I am the bread of life.Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying,“ How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”Then Jesus said to them,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.This is the bread which came down from heaven— not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever!

Where are they? Where are your wise men? Let them tell you now, And let them know what the Lord of hosts has purposed against Egypt.The princes of Zoan have become fools; The princes of Noph are deceived; They have also deluded Egypt, Those who are the mainstay of its tribes.

“ Stand now with your enchantments And the multitude of your sorceries, In which you have labored from your youth— Perhaps you will be able to profit, Perhaps you will prevail.You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators Stand up and save you From what shall come upon you.

O inhabitant of Lebanon, Making your nest in the cedars, How gracious will you be when pangs come upon you, Like the pain of a woman in labor?
