約瑟來到家裏，他們就把手中的禮物拿進屋去給他，又伏地向他下拜。

當時治理埃及地的執政者就是約瑟；賣糧食給那地的眾民的就是他。約瑟的哥哥們來了，就面伏於地向約瑟下拜。

你們也要說：「看哪，你僕人雅各還在我們後邊呢。」』因為雅各心裏說：『我用在我前面走的禮物去解他的恨，然後再見他的面，或者他會讓我的臉抬得起。』於是禮物在他前面過去了。那一夜雅各在營中過夜。

請問你僮僕，他們自會告訴你的。為此願我的僮僕得到你顧愛；因為我們是在佳節日子來的；求你將隨手找得着的給僕人和你兒子大衛。」』

雅各說：『不，若蒙你賞臉，求你從我手裏收下我這一點禮物；因為我既見了你的面、如同見了上帝的面，而你還容納我，就理當如此。

如今請將婢女給我主帶來的祝福禮賜給跟着我主往來的僮僕們。
