你所行的道要離她遠，不可就近她的房門，

你要逃避少年的私慾，同那清心禱告主的人追求公義、信德、仁愛、和平。

親愛的弟兄啊，你們是客旅，是寄居的。我勸你們要禁戒肉體的私慾；這私慾是與靈魂爭戰的。

我得知有等婦人比死還苦：她的心是網羅，手是鎖鍊。凡蒙神喜悅的人必能躲避她；有罪的人卻被她纏住了。

拉住那少年人，與他親嘴，臉無羞恥對他說：平安祭在我這裏，今日才還了我所許的願。因此，我出來迎接你，懇切求見你的面，恰巧遇見了你。我已經用繡花毯子和埃及線織的花紋布鋪了我的牀。我又用沒藥、沉香、桂皮薰了我的榻。你來，我們可以飽享愛情，直到早晨；我們可以彼此親愛歡樂。因為我丈夫不在家，出門行遠路；他手拿銀囊，必到月望才回家。淫婦用許多巧言誘他隨從，用諂媚的嘴逼他同行。少年人立刻跟隨她，好像牛往宰殺之地；又像愚昧人帶鎖鍊去受刑罰，直等箭穿他的肝；如同雀鳥急入網羅，卻不知是自喪己命。眾子啊，現在要聽從我，留心聽我口中的話。你的心不可偏向淫婦的道，不要入她的迷途。因為，被她傷害仆倒的不少；被她殺戮的而且甚多。她的家是在陰間之路，下到死亡之宮。

要救自己，如鹿脫離獵戶的手，如鳥脫離捕鳥人的手。

我兒，不要與他們同行一道，禁止你腳走他們的路。

後來她天天和約瑟說，約瑟卻不聽從她，不與她同寢，也不和她在一處。

約瑟不從，對他主人的妻說：「看哪，一切家務，我主人都不知道；他把所有的都交在我手裏。

「主耶和華說：你行這一切事，都是不知羞恥妓女所行的，可見你的心是何等懦弱！因你在一切市口上建造圓頂花樓，在各街上做了高臺，你卻藐視賞賜，不像妓女。

你們不要自欺；濫交是敗壞善行。

撒母耳轉身要走，掃羅就扯住他外袍的衣襟，衣襟就撕斷了。

有一個少年人，赤身披着一塊麻布，跟隨耶穌，眾人就捉拿他。他卻丟了麻布，赤身逃走了。
