Then she told him this story:“ That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to make sport of me.

This is what she said to him:“ That Hebrew slave you brought to us tried to humiliate me,

She spoke to him according to these words, saying,“ The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought to us, came in to me to mock me,

「不可隨夥佈散謠言；不可與惡人連手妄作見證。

惡人已經弓上弦，刀出鞘，要打倒困苦窮乏的人，要殺害行動正直的人。

都因仇敵的聲音，惡人的欺壓；因為他們將罪孽加在我身上，發怒氣逼迫我。

就叫了家裏的人來，對他們說：「你們看！他帶了一個希伯來人進入我們家裏，要戲弄我們。他到我這裏來，要與我同寢，我就大聲喊叫。

信上寫着說：「你們當宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的高位上，又叫兩個匪徒坐在拿伯對面，作見證告他說：『你謗瀆神和王了』；隨後就把他拉出去用石頭打死。」那些與拿伯同城居住的長老貴冑得了耶洗別的信，就照信而行，宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的高位上。有兩個匪徒來，坐在拿伯的對面，當着眾民作見證告他說：「拿伯謗瀆神和王了！」眾人就把他拉到城外，用石頭打死。

「不可作假見證陷害人。

耶和華啊，求你救我脫離說謊的嘴唇和詭詐的舌頭！詭詐的舌頭啊，要給你甚麼呢？要拿甚麼加給你呢？就是勇士的利箭和羅騰木的炭火。

口吐真言，永遠堅立；舌說謊話，只存片時。

大祭司就撕開衣服，說：「他說了僭妄的話，我們何必再用見證人呢？這僭妄的話，現在你們都聽見了。

作假見證的，不免受罰；吐出謊言的，也必滅亡。

作假見證的，必不免受罰；吐出謊言的，終不能逃脫。

亞哈見了以利亞，便說：「使以色列遭災的就是你嗎？」
