The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.

The man who ran the prison didn’t pay attention to anything in Joseph’s care. That’s because the Lord was with Joseph. He gave Joseph success in everything he did.

The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph’s charge, because the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed.

The warden had no more worries, because Joseph took care of everything. The Lord was with him and caused everything he did to succeed.

他要像一棵樹栽在溪水旁，按時候結果子，葉子也不枯乾。凡他所做的盡都順利。

因此，耶和華－以色列的神說：『我曾說，你和你父家必永遠行在我面前；現在我卻說，決不容你們這樣行。因為尊重我的，我必重看他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。

你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你蹚過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不着在你身上。

你當倚靠耶和華而行善，住在地上，以他的信實為糧；又要以耶和華為樂，他就將你心裏所求的賜給你。當將你的事交託耶和華，並倚靠他，他就必成全。他要使你的公義如光發出，使你的公平明如正午。你當默然倚靠耶和華，耐性等候他；不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。當止住怒氣，離棄忿怒；不要心懷不平，以致作惡。因為作惡的必被剪除；惟有等候耶和華的必承受地土。還有片時，惡人要歸於無有；你就是細察他的住處也要歸於無有。但謙卑人必承受地土，以豐盛的平安為樂。

把他們下在護衛長府內的監裏，就是約瑟被囚的地方。護衛長把他們交給約瑟，約瑟便伺候他們；他們有些日子在監裏。

我的神差遣使者，封住獅子的口，叫獅子不傷我；因我在神面前無辜，我在王面前也沒有行過虧損的事。」

弓箭手將他苦害，向他射箭，逼迫他。但他的弓仍舊堅硬；他的手健壯敏捷。這是因以色列的牧者，以色列的磐石－就是雅各的大能者。
