Now the men were frightened when they were taken to his house. They thought,“ We were brought here because of the silver that was put back into our sacks the first time. He wants to attack us and overpower us and seize us as slaves and take our donkeys.”

然念斯理、殊難解兮。

委之以惡名、曰、我娶此婦、與之同寢、則知其非處女也、

門徒見其履海則懼、意為怪物、驚而呼、耶穌曰、安爾心、我也、勿懼、

平時無寅畏之心、後日有靡涯之懼兮、凡為善人之敵者、上帝必藐視之、使百骸離散、貽羞斯世兮。

則語其妻曰、我儕睹上帝、必致死亡。

委以惡名。謂非處女、然彼誠處女、確有據焉、當展其布於長老前。

或告大闢族曰、亞蘭人、與以法蓮人、結為黨援、大闢族聞之、君民震慴、心搖搖如風木、

相語曰、昔吾儕因弟而獲罪、我見其乞憐、不諒其苦衷、置若罔聞、故遭此難。

蓋是時以色列族為非利士人所轄、參孫父母不知斯事由於耶和華、使參孫與非利士人生其釁隙。

告兄弟曰、人反我金、猶在於囊。眾心危懼、相告曰、上帝之待我如此、曷故。○
