Midianites who were merchants passed by, and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver. The merchants brought Joseph into Egypt.

They will dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived. They will dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever. David my servant will be their prince forever.Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will place them, multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them forever more.

For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you.

He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.The king sent and freed him, even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions,to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which God gave to Abraham.”

His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.

He came near, and kissed him. He smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said,“ Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which Yahweh has blessed.God give you of the dew of the sky, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers. Let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you. Blessed be everyone who blesses you.”

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them:‘ When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to Yahweh,

I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will shine.”
