Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Don’t be faithless, but believe.”Thomas responded to him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus said,“ Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”

On the other hand, the person who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and consolation.

When you come together, then, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper.

Once, as we were on our way to prayer, a slave girl met us who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She made a large profit for her owners by fortune-telling.

If, therefore, the whole church assembles together and all are speaking in tongues and people who are outsiders or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your minds?
