By faith he left Egypt behind, not being afraid of the king’s anger, for Moses persevered as one who sees Him who is invisible.

他因着信，就离开埃及，不怕王怒；因为他恒心忍耐，如同看见那不能看见的主。

彼以信而去埃及、不畏王怒、蓋堅忍如見莫能見者、

摩西有信、則離埃及不惴王怒、其恆心如見無形之上帝、

彼有信、離伊及不畏王怒、彼有恆心、如見不可見者、

厥後又憑信德、不恤君王之震怒、而逃出埃及。蓋其心目中常有形而上之天主、故能百折不撓、磨而不磷也。

By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

Because of his faith, Moses left Egypt. It wasn’t because he was afraid of the king’s anger. He didn’t let anything stop him. That’s because he saw the God who can’t be seen.

By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.

These all died in faith without having received the promises, but they saw them from a distance, greeted them, and confessed that they were foreigners and temporary residents on the earth.

Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.

“ Who made you a leader and judge over us?” the man replied.“ Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses became afraid and thought: What I did is certainly known.When Pharaoh heard about this, he tried to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in the land of Midian, and sat down by a well.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and saw the Egyptians coming after them. Then the Israelites were terrified and cried out to the Lord for help.They said to Moses:“ Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you took us to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?Isn’t this what we told you in Egypt: Leave us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”But Moses said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and see the Lord’s salvation He will provide for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.

Pharaoh said to him,“ Leave me! Make sure you never see my face again, for on the day you see my face, you will die.”“ As you have said,” Moses replied,“ I will never see your face again.”

Then all the Israelites did this; they did just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.

I keep the Lord in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

the only One who has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; no one has seen or can see Him, to Him be honor and eternal might. Amen.

Now in Midian the Lord told Moses,“ Return to Egypt, for all the men who wanted to kill you are dead.”

The Israelites traveled from Rameses to Succoth, about 600,000 soldiers on foot, besides their families.An ethnically diverse crowd also went up with them, along with a huge number of livestock, both flocks and herds.The people baked the dough they had brought out of Egypt into unleavened loaves, since it had no yeast; for when they had been driven out of Egypt they could not delay and had not prepared any provisions for themselves.The time that the Israelites lived in Egypt was 430 years.At the end of 430 years, on that same day, all the Lord’s divisions went out from the land of Egypt.It was a night of vigil in honor of the Lord, because He would bring them out of the land of Egypt. This same night is in honor of the Lord, a night vigil for all the Israelites throughout their generations.

Here is how you must eat it: you must be dressed for travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the Lord’s Passover.

Remember the earlier days when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings.

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart.

But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.

When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them along the road to the land of the Philistines, even though it was nearby; for God said,“ The people will change their minds and return to Egypt if they face war.”So He led the people around toward the Red Sea along the road of the wilderness. And the Israelites left the land of Egypt in battle formation.Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, because Joseph had made the Israelites swear a solemn oath, saying,“ God will certainly come to your aid; then you must take my bones with you from this place.”They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness.The Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to lead them on their way during the day and in a pillar of fire to give them light at night, so that they could travel day or night.

For David says of Him: I saw the Lord ever before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

You love Him, though you have not seen Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy,

All these officials of yours will come down to me and bow before me, saying: Leave, you and all the people who follow you. After that, I will leave.’” And he left Pharaoh’s presence in fierce anger.

And you will be hated by everyone because of My name. But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.

See, we count as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise.

So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

But they have no root in themselves; they are short-lived. When pressure or persecution comes because of the word, they immediately stumble.

You will be hated by everyone because of My name. But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.
