By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death:“ He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

Enoch had faith. So he was taken from this life. He didn’t die.“ He couldn’t be found, because God had taken him away.”( Genesis 5:24) Before God took him, Enoch was praised as one who pleased God.

亞當七世之孫以諾、預言此等人云、主必偕其萬聖降臨、

諸民諸族諸方諸國中、有多人觀其屍三日有半、不許其屍葬於墓、居地之民、將欣喜歡樂、互相餽贈、蓋二先知曾困苦居地之民、越三日有半、有生氣自天主而來、入二先知身、使復起立、見之者甚懼、二先知聞大聲自天語之曰、爾升此、即乘雲升天、其敵皆目睹、

我儕因信、則知諸世界以天主命而造、致所見之物、非由有形者出、亞伯有信、獻祭於天主、較該隱為美、故蒙天主嘉其所獻而證其為義、是以雖死仍似有言、

故凡從肉體者、不能見悅於天主、若天主之神、居於爾心、則爾不屬肉體而屬聖神矣、凡無基督神者、不屬基督也、

天主既允我儕受福音之任、則我儕如是而言、不求悅於人、乃求悅於鑒察我心之天主、
