四十年之久惹上帝发怒的是谁呢？不就是那些犯罪作恶并倒毙在旷野的人吗？

神四十年之久，又厌烦谁呢？岂不是那些犯罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

上帝向谁发怒四十年之久呢？岂不是那些犯罪而陈尸在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久，神向谁发怒呢？不就是向那些犯了罪陈尸旷野的人吗？

神又向谁发怒了四十年之久呢？难道不是那些犯了罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

神四十年之久，又厭煩誰呢？豈不是那些犯罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

上帝向誰發怒四十年之久呢？豈不是那些犯罪而陳屍在曠野的人嗎？

神向誰發怒四十年之久呢？豈不是那些犯罪而陳屍在曠野的人嗎？

四十年之久惹上帝發怒的是誰呢？不就是那些犯罪作惡並倒斃在曠野的人嗎？

四十年之久，神向誰發怒呢？不就是向那些犯了罪陳屍曠野的人嗎？

上帝四十年厭惡誰呢？豈不是那些犯了罪、屍首倒在曠野的人麼？

神又向誰發怒了四十年之久呢？難道不是那些犯了罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

又四十年彼所不悅者誰耶、非干罰而屍仆於野者乎、

上帝於四十載中憾誰、非犯罪而暴骨於野者乎、

天主於四十年間怒誰、非犯罪而屍仆於曠野者乎、

天主所謂：「厭惡斯代、垂四十春」者、又誰耶？非多行不義、卒至暴屍曠野者乎？

And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?

Who was God angry with for 40 years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned? They died in the desert.

And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness?

With whom was God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness?

Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?

And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And who was He provoked with for 40 years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

But with whom was he grieved forty years?[ was it] not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

And against whom was God provoked for forty years? Was it not those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness?

With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

你们当中凡登记在册、二十岁以上向我发怨言的人，必倒毙在这旷野中，

以下的事情，你们虽然都知道，但我还要再提醒你们：从前上帝把祂的子民从埃及救出来，后来把其中不信的人灭绝了。

耶和华说：“人们必尸横遍野，像散布在田野上的粪便，又像收割者身后没有收集的禾捆。”

而你们必死在这旷野。你们的儿女要在旷野飘泊四十年，为你们的不忠而受苦，直到你们都死在旷野。

他们绝对看不到我起誓要赐给他们祖先的土地，藐视我的人都看不到那片土地。这些人见过我的荣耀，见过我在埃及和旷野所行的神迹，却仍然不听我的话，试探我十次之多。

其中没有一个是摩西和祭司亚伦从前在西奈旷野登记的人。因为耶和华说过，那批人都要死在旷野。果然，除了耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚以外，上次登记的人无一存活。

其实是耶和华的手攻击他们，直到把他们从营中全部消灭。“所有的战士都死后，

弟兄姊妹，我希望你们知道，我们的祖先曾经在云下走过红海，都在云下、在海中受洗跟从了摩西。他们都吃过同样的灵粮，都喝过同样的灵水，因为他们从那与他们同行的属灵磐石中得水喝，那磐石就是基督。尽管如此，他们当中大多数人不讨上帝的喜悦，倒毙在旷野。如今这些事正好警戒我们，叫我们不要像他们那样贪恋罪恶，也不要像他们当中的人那样去祭拜偶像，正如圣经上说：“百姓坐下吃喝，起来狂欢。”我们也不要淫乱，像他们当中的人那样，结果一天就死了两万三千人。也不要试探主，像他们当中的人那样，结果被蛇咬死了。也不要发怨言，像他们当中的人那样，结果被灭命的天使毁灭了。发生在他们身上的这些事都是鉴戒，之所以记录下来是为了警戒我们这活在末世的人。所以，自以为站得稳的人要小心，免得跌倒。你们遇见的诱惑无非是人们常见的。上帝是信实的，祂绝不会让你们遇见无法抵挡的诱惑，祂必为你们开一条出路，使你们经得住诱惑。
