“ Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ they will be called‘ children of the living God.’

“ But the time will come when the people of Israel will be like the sand on the seashore. It can’t be measured or counted. Now it is said about them,‘ You are not my people.’ But at that time they will be called‘ children of the living God.’

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was said to them,“ You are not my people,” it shall be said to them,“ Children of the living God.”

“ Yet the time will come when Israel’s people will be like the sands of the seashore— too many to count! Then, at the place where they were told,‘ You are not my people,’ it will be said,‘ You are children of the living God.’

Yet the number of the Israelites will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or counted. And in the place where they were told: You are not my people, they will be called: Sons of the living God.

Yet the number of the sons of Israel Will be like the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or counted; And in the place Where it is said to them,“ You are not My people,” It will be said to them,“ You are the sons of the living God.”

“ Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not My people,’ There it shall be said to them,‘ You are sons of the living God.’

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

( 2: 1) However, in the future the number of the people of Israel will be like the sand of the sea which can be neither measured nor numbered. Although it was said to them,“ You are not my people,” it will be said to them,“ You are children of the living God!”

Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured or counted; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ they will be called‘ sons of the living God.’

又載云、全能之主曰、我將為爾父、爾為我子女、

爾既得為子、天主則遣其子之神於爾心、呼阿巴、父也、如此、爾不復為奴、乃為子、既為子、則賴基督而為天主嗣子、○

惟爾曹乃蒙選之族、有王位之祭司、成聖之國、屬主之民、主召爾出幽暗、入其妙光、欲爾宣揚其德、爾素非為民、今為天主之民、昔未蒙憐恤、今已蒙憐恤、○

試觀父賜我儕何等之愛、使我儕得稱為天主之子、世不識我儕、因不識父也、可愛者乎、我儕今為天主之子、將來如何、尚未顯明、惟知彼顯現之時、我儕必似彼、蓋必見其真體也、

如何西阿書載主之言云、非我民者、我將稱為我民、非蒙愛者、我將稱之蒙愛、昔語彼眾云、爾非我民、後必稱為永生天主之子、以賽亞指以色列人呼云、以色列眾子、雖如海沙、而得救者惟餘數耳、主之言必以義而定、必應而速行、蓋所定之言、主必速行之於斯地、

凡受之者、即信其名者、賜之以權、為天主之子、或作凡受之者賜之以權為天主之子即信其名者也

主曰、彼將攜爾兄弟、自列邦而歸、使之乘馬、或車、或肩與、或騾、或駝、至我聖山耶路撒冷、以為禮物獻於我、猶如以色列人盛禮物於潔器、奉至我殿、

蓋凡為天主之神所導者、是為天主之子、爾曹所受之神、非使爾自視為奴、致仍畏懼、爾曹所受之神、乃使爾自視為子、我儕由之而呼阿巴、父也、此神與我心、或作此神與我神同證我儕為天主之子、既為子則為嗣、即天主之嗣、與基督同為嗣、我儕若與之同苦、亦必與之同榮、○

謂北方曰、釋之返、謂南方曰、勿拘留、以我諸子攜自遠方、以我諸女返自地極、

爾舉目四顧、見眾聚集來歸爾、爾子來自遠方、爾女人將提抱而至、時、爾見此而喜、爾心亦驚異、亦歡暢、緣滄海之珍寶、俱歸於爾、列國之貨財、為爾所得、群駝遍於爾境、米甸以法之獨峰駝、亦遍於爾境、示巴之眾、咸攜金與乳香而來、頌美主之德、基達群羊、必集於爾中、尼拜約牡綿羊、供爾所用、獻於我祭臺、蒙我悅納、我必榮我榮光之殿、此飛集如雲、亦若鴿之歸其巢者誰乎、洲島之民、俱瞻望我、他施之舟必先至、攜爾眾子來自遠方、並攜金銀、以奉主爾之天主、以奉加榮於爾之以色列聖主、異邦人必建爾城垣、彼之列王必服事爾、蓋我既震怒責爾、今必施恩矜恤爾、爾門恆啟、晝夜不閉、因有人常攜列邦之貨財而來、並引其列王偕來、因有人常攜列邦之貨財而來並引其列王偕來或作因列國之貨財運入爾中其列王率僕從亦恆至於爾凡不事爾之民與國必滅、其邦盡亡、利巴嫩之佳木、如柏木杉木黃楊、運至爾中、以飾我聖所之地、我必榮我駐蹕駐蹕或作置足之處、昔暴虐爾者、其子孫必鞠躬就爾、藐視爾者、必俯伏於爾足下、必稱爾為耶和華之邑、為以色列聖主之郇城、爾昔見棄被惡、無人經歷於爾中、今而後我使爾永為華美、為人所悅、至於萬代、爾得列國與諸王之貨財、貨財或作供養若嬰得乳、使爾知我耶和華乃爾之救主、贖爾者乃雅各全能之主、我將賜賜原文作攜下同金以代銅、賜鐵以代石、使和平治理爾、使公義統轄爾、強暴之事、不聞於爾地、殘刻損害之事、不聞於爾境、爾必稱爾垣為拯救之垣、稱爾門為頌美之門、晝無庸日為爾之光、夜無需月光照爾、有主永為爾之光、爾之天主為爾之榮、爾之日不復入、爾之月不復虧、蓋主永為爾之光、爾悲哀之日已畢、爾之居民悉為義人、永得地為業、我栽培之、我手創造之、彰顯我榮、丁稀之家、必增千倍、微弱之族、必成強國、屆期、我耶和華必速成之、

我必使之居於斯地、或作我必以之栽植國中原文作我必種之於斯地必矜憫素未蒙矜憫者、謂非為我民者曰、爾乃我民、彼亦必曰、主乃我天主、

必賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、如天上之星、如海濱之沙、爾後裔必得敵之城邑為業、

主曰、可稱其名曰羅阿米、羅阿米譯即非我民之義蓋爾曹非我民、我不復為爾之天主、○

我必使爾後裔多如地之塵沙然、若人能核數地之塵沙、則爾之後裔亦可核數、

天之眾星不可數、海濱塵沙不可量、我僕大衛之裔、及奉事我之利未人、我必使之蕃衍亦若是、

故由一人、身若已死者、生育蕃衍、如天星之眾、如海沙之無數、

爾之諸子將速歸、毀爾使爾荒蕪者、必離爾出、爾舉目四望、咸集歸爾、主曰、我指己永生而誓、爾必以之為飾、視如新婦所束之華帶、爾之土地荒蕪寂寞、城邑傾圮、今而後因居民眾多、必見狹隘、毀爾者必遠離爾、昔雖喪子、後仍有多子告爾曰、此地甚狹、當為我恢廓之、使有所居、其時爾心自言曰、我喪子獨居、遭擄掠、被驅逐、此眾誰為我生之育之、我孤獨無依、此眾自何而有、主天主如是云、我必向列國舉手、向列民樹旂、使彼將爾諸子保抱而至、將爾諸女肩負而來、

爾之後裔、多若塵沙、爾所生者、繁若海之鱗族、鱗族或作細沙其名不絕不滅於我前、

主曾許我曰、我必施恩於爾、使爾後裔如海沙之多、不可勝數、○

爾不孕不生子者、當謳歌、爾未劬勞之婦、當發聲謳歌而歡呼、蓋獨居之婦、較有夫之婦生子多矣、此乃主所言、廓爾幕所、張爾幕幃、而勿限止、長其索、固其橛、爾必向左右廣為蔓延、爾之眾子、眾子原文作後裔將獲列國以為業、今荒蕪之邑、彼復居之、
