He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

I said, I would scatter them afar, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;

but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of Jehovah arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

For Jehovah will smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and he will root up Israel out of this good land which he gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River, because they have made their Asherim, provoking Jehovah to anger.And he will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he hath sinned, and wherewith he hath made Israel to sin.

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David: Is it a small thing for you to weary men, that ye will weary my God also?
