But now you have been brought down to the place of the dead. You have been thrown into the deepest part of the pit.

然而，你必坠落阴间，到坑中极深之处。

然而，你必坠落阴间，到地府极深之处。

然而，你必坠落阴间，到地府极深之处。

可是，你必坠入阴间，掉进死亡的深坑。

然而，你却被抛下阴间，落到坑中的极处。

然而你必被丢下阴间，下到阴坑的极处！

然而，你必墜落陰間，到坑中極深之處。

然而，你必墜落陰間，到地府極深之處。

然而，你必墜落陰間，到地府極深之處。

可是，你必墜入陰間，掉進死亡的深坑。

然而，你卻被拋下陰間，落到坑中的極處。

然而你竟被送下陰間，到陰坑中的極深處了！

然而你必被丟下陰間，下到陰坑的極處！

然爾必下陰府、墮於至深之坑、

今爾下陰府幽冥之所、

今爾下示阿勒、墮於坑塹、

But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.

But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.

Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead, down to its lowest depths.

But you will be brought down to Sheol into the deepest regions of the Pit.

Nevertheless you will be brought down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit.

But you will be brought down to Sheol into the deepest regions of the Pit.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

But you were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit.

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the pit.

And what about you, Capernaum? Will you be lifted to the heavens? No! You will go down to the place of the dead. Suppose the miracles done in you had been done in Sodom. It would still be here today.

Their graves are deep down in the pit. Assyria’s army lies around the grave of its king. All those who spread terror while they were alive are now dead. They were killed by swords.

And what about you, Capernaum? Will you be lifted up to the heavens? No! You will go down to the place of the dead.

But the beast and the false prophet were captured. The false prophet had done signs for the beast. In this way the false prophet had tricked some people. Those people had received the mark of the beast and had worshiped its statue. The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire. The lake of fire burns with sulfur.

Then they shouted,“ This is the voice of a god. It’s not the voice of a man.”Right away an angel of the Lord struck Herod down. Herod had not given praise to God. So he was eaten by worms and died.

The Lord will put an end to Israel’s suffering and trouble. They will no longer be forced to do hard labor. At that time,they will make fun of the king of Babylon. They will say,“ See how the one who crushed others has fallen! See how his anger has come to an end!The Lord has taken away the authority of evil people. He has broken the power of rulers.When they became angry, they struck down nations. Their blows never stopped. In their anger they brought nations under their control. They attacked them again and again.All the lands now enjoy peace and rest. They break out into singing.Even the juniper trees show how happy they are. The cedar trees of Lebanon celebrate too. They say,‘ Babylon, you have fallen. Now no one comes and cuts us down.’“ King of Babylon, many people in the place of the dead are really excited. They’re excited about meeting you when you go down there. The spirits of the dead get up to welcome you. At one time all of them were leaders in the world. They were kings over the nations. They get up from their thrones.All of them call out to you. They say,‘ You have become weak, just as we are. You have become like us.’Your grand show of power has been brought down to the grave. The noise of your harps has come down here along with your power. Maggots are spread out under you. Worms cover you.

They will bring you down to the grave. You will die a horrible death in the middle of the sea.Then will you say,‘ I am a god’? Will you say that to those who kill you? You will be only a human being to those who kill you. You will not be a god to them.
