地上居民歟、驚駭坎阱機檻、悉臨於爾、

居斯土者、惟有驚駭、坎阱機檻而已、

斯地之居民乎、驚駭、陷阱、網羅、必臨於爾、

Terror and pit and snare await you, people of the earth.

Listen, you people of the earth. Terror, a pit and a trap are waiting for you.

Terror and the pit and the snare are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth!

Terror and traps and snares will be your lot, you people of the earth.

Panic, pit, and trap await you who dwell on the earth.

Terror and pit and snare Confront you, you inhabitant of the earth.

Terror, pit, and snare are ready to overtake you inhabitants of the earth!

Terror, the pit, and the snare are on you, inhabitant of Moab,” says Yahweh.“ He who flees from the terror will fall into the pit; and he who gets up out of the pit will be taken in the snare: for I will bring on him, even on Moab, the year of their visitation,” says Yahweh.

He who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

“‘ If you walk contrary to me, and won’t listen to me, then I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.I will send the wild animals among you, which will rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number. Your roads will become desolate.
