If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came( and the Scripture cannot be nullified),

Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, I will certainly do it.

“ As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord:“ My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord,“ from now and forever.”

The crowd then answered Him,“ We have heard from the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how is it that You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the benefit of circumcision?Great in every respect. First, that they were entrusted with the actual words of God.What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?
