“ The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

“ Those who are poor and needy search for water. But there isn’t any. Their tongues are dry because they are thirsty. But I will help them. I am the Lord. I will not desert them. I am Israel’s God.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

“ When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the Lord, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will never abandon them.

斯民必居於錫安、在耶路撒冷、不復哭泣、主必因爾呼籲、施恩於爾、有聞斯應、

凡口渴者、其來就水、無金者來購而食之、來沾酒乳、不需金、不索值、

飢渴慕義者福矣、以其將得飽也、

惟彼瞽者、我必攜之於不識之途、導之於不識之徑、在彼之前、使暗為光、使曲為直、我將行此、而不之棄、

主耶和華之神臨我、蓋耶和華膏我、俾傳嘉音於謙卑者、遣我醫傷心者、宣自由於俘虜、告開釋於繫囚、

於節之末日、即大日也、耶穌立而呼曰、人若渴、宜就我飲、信我者、如經所言、將有活水之川、由其腹而流焉、耶穌此言、指信之者將受之聖神、蓋聖神尚未降、因耶穌未榮也、

上帝歟、爾沛霖雨、爾業困乏、俾其堅固兮、爾之會眾居於其中、上帝歟、爾為貧者備其恩澤兮、

民渴、索水、怨摩西曰、曷導我出埃及、使我與子及畜、燥渴而死、

患難之日、爾當籲我、我必援爾、爾亦榮我兮、○

我必偕爾、無論何往、我必護爾、使歸斯土、不汝遐棄、吾所許者、必踐其言、

上帝歟、爾為我上帝、我懇切尋爾、在旱乾困人、無水之地、我心渴想爾、我身切慕爾兮、似曾瞻爾於聖所、欲見爾能與榮兮、

參孫渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾藉僕手、大施拯救、今將渴死、而陷未受割者之手、上帝裂利希之窪處、有水湧出、飲之、精神頓復而蘇、故其泉名曰隱哈歌利、在於利希、至今猶存、

蓋耶和華建築郇邑、見於其榮兮、垂念貧者之禱、不輕視其祈兮、

野中百獸、野犬鴕鳥、必皆尊我、因我備水於曠野、濬川於荒墟、以飲我之選民、

勿好利、以爾所有為足、蓋上帝嘗云、我必不棄爾、不遺爾也、如是我儕毅然曰、主乃我助、我無所畏、人其如我何、○

虛心者福矣、以天國為其有也、

耶穌曰、爾若知上帝之賜、及語爾飲我者為誰、爾必求之、則以活水予爾、婦曰、主、爾無汲器、井又深、何由得活水耶、爾豈大於我祖雅各乎、遺我此井、彼與其子及畜曾飲之、耶穌曰、飲此水者將復渴、惟飲我所予之水者、永不渴、蓋我所予之水、將於其中為泉、湧至永生、婦曰主、請以此水予我、俾我不渴、無庸遠來以汲矣、

載饑載渴、其心昏憒兮、患難之時、呼籲耶和華、遂援之於困苦兮、

貧人呼籲、耶和華垂聽、援於諸難兮、

蓋我必注水於渴者、濬川於燥土、注我神於爾苗裔、降福祉於爾子孫、

聖神與新婦皆曰來、聞者亦當曰來、渴者當來、願之者可不費而得維生之水、○

遂呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕乎、矜恤我、遣拉撒路以指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋我在此火燄中苦甚、

精力既枯、有如破瓦、舌貼於齦、爾置我於死地之塵兮、

又曰、凡此、皆由我手所造而有、惟謙冲心傷、緣我言而戰慄者、我必顧之、

哺乳之嬰、厥舌燥渴而黏腭兮、稚子求餅、無人擘而予之兮、

窮乏者呼籲、彼必救之、困苦者無助、彼必援之兮、矜恤窮苦之輩、拯救貧人之命兮、

我心渴想上帝、即維生之上帝、何時詣上帝前、而覲之兮、

我於何烈磐上、向爾而立、爾擊斯磐、水由之出、使民得飲、摩西遂於以色列長老前行此、

耶和華不棄其民、不遺其業兮、

又謂我曰、悉成矣、我乃始與終、本與末、凡渴者將以維生之水源予之、而無費也、

主曰、吾恩於爾足矣、我之能於弱者而成全之、故我欣然、寧誇我弱、使基督之能庇我、

主耶和華曰、時日將至、我必使饑饉臨於斯土、人之飢也、非因無糧無水、乃因未聽耶和華之言也、人必踉蹌而行、自此海至彼海、自北至東、疾趨往來、尋耶和華之言而不得、是日也、美女少男、必因渴而疲憊、
