I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

我必亲自领导你，把高低不平的路修平；铜门，我必打破；铁门，我必砍断。

“我必在你前面行，修平崎岖之地；我要打碎铜门，砍断铁闩。

我必在你前面行，修平崎嶇之地。我必打破銅門，砍斷鐵閂。

「我要在你前面行，修平崎嶇之地。我必打破銅門，砍斷鐵閂。

「我要在你前面行，修平崎嶇之地。我必打破銅門，砍斷鐵閂。

『我要走在你前面，為你鏟平高山，打破銅門，砍斷鐵閂。

我必親自領導你，把高低不平的路修平；銅門，我必打破；鐵門，我必砍斷。

『我必親自領導你，使道路平直；銅門我必打破，鐵閂我必砍斷；

「我必在你前面行，修平崎嶇之地；我要打碎銅門，砍斷鐵閂。

謂之曰、我將為爾先導、平治崎嶇、碎銅門、折鐵楗、

我備爾道、使曲為直、毀敵銅門、斷敵鐵楗、

我行於爾前、使曲為直、為爾毀銅門、斷鐵楗、

I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

‘ I will march out ahead of you. I will make the mountains level. I will break down bronze gates. I will cut through their heavy iron bars.

“ I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron,

This is what the Lord says:“ I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

“ I will go before you and level the uneven places; I will shatter the bronze doors and cut the iron bars in two.

“ I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.

‘ I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.

I will go before thee, and make the rough places smooth; I will break in pieces the doors of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron;

“ I will go before you and level the uneven places; I will shatter the bronze doors and cut the iron bars in two.

“ I will go before you and level mountains. Bronze doors I will shatter and iron bars I will hack through.

“ I will go before you and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of bronze in pieces and cut apart the bars of iron.

Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways[ shall be] made smooth;

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

And I will bring the blind by a way[ that] they knew not; I will lead them in paths[ that] they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in[ their] holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.They come from a far country, from the end of heaven,[ even] the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.Howl ye; for the day of the LORD[ is] at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces[ shall be as] flames.Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.And I will punish the world for[ their] evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined[ unto them] shall fall by the sword.Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and[ as for] gold, they shall not delight in it.
