If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well- being like the waves of the sea.

I wish you would pay attention to my commands. If you did, peace would flow over you like a river. Godliness would sweep over you like the waves of the ocean.

Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea;

Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.

耶和華如此說：我要使平安延及她，好像江河，使列國的榮耀延及她，如同漲溢的河。你們要從中享受；你們必蒙抱在肋旁，搖弄在膝上。

惟願他們存這樣的心敬畏我，常遵守我的一切誡命，使他們和他們的子孫永遠得福。

惟願他們有智慧，能明白這事，肯思念他們的結局。

愛你律法的人有大平安，甚麼都不能使他們絆腳。

惟願公平如大水滾滾，使公義如江河滔滔。

耶穌快到耶路撒冷，看見城，就為它哀哭，說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。

等到聖靈從上澆灌我們，曠野就變為肥田，肥田看如樹林。那時，公平要居在曠野；公義要居在肥田。公義的果效必是平安；公義的效驗必是平穩，直到永遠。我的百姓必住在平安的居所，安穩的住處，平靜的安歇所。

甚願我的民肯聽從我，以色列肯行我的道，我便速速治服他們的仇敵，反手攻擊他們的敵人。恨耶和華的人必來投降，但他的百姓必永久長存。他也必拿上好的麥子給他們吃，又拿從磐石出的蜂蜜叫他們飽足。

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷啊，你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死那奉差遣到你這裏來的人。我多次願意聚集你的兒女，好像母雞把小雞聚集在翅膀底下，只是你們不願意。

諸天哪，自上而滴，穹蒼降下公義；地面開裂，產出救恩，使公義一同發生；這都是我－耶和華所造的。

因為神的國不在乎吃喝，只在乎公義、和平，並聖靈中的喜樂。

他們必因你殿裏的肥甘得以飽足；你也必叫他們喝你樂河的水。
