so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

The words I speak are like that. They will not return to me without producing results. They will accomplish what I want them to. They will do exactly what I sent them to do.

so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

我从太初就预言末后的事，从亘古就宣布将来的事。我的旨意必成就，我的计划必实现。

天地都要过去，但我的话永远长存。

叫人活着的是灵，肉体毫无作用。我对你们说的话就是灵，就是生命。

由此可见，听了道，才会信道；有了基督的话，才有道可听。

我凭自己起誓，我口中的话真实可靠，绝不更改，‘万膝必向我跪拜，万口必起誓效忠于我。’

我栽种，亚波罗灌溉，但使之生长的是上帝。所以栽种的和灌溉的都算不得什么，一切都在于使之生长的上帝。其实栽种的人和浇灌的人目标都一样，各人将按照自己的付出得报酬。因为我们是上帝的同工，你们是上帝的园地和建筑。

这个比喻的意思是这样，种子代表上帝的道，种子落在路旁是指人听了道，随后魔鬼来把道从他们心里夺走了，不让他们相信并得救。种子落在盖着浅土的石头地上是指人听了道，欣然接受了，但是没有根基，只是暂时相信，一遇到试炼就放弃了。种子落在荆棘丛中是指人听了道，后来被生活的忧虑、钱财和享乐缠住了，以致结不出成熟的果实来。种子落在沃土里则是指人听了道，用诚实良善的心坚忍持守，至终结出果实。“没有人点了灯，却用器皿把它盖起来或放到床底下，而是放在灯台上，使进来的人能见到光。

我们不住地感谢上帝，因为你们从我们这里听了上帝的道后就接受了，确信这不是人的道理，而是上帝的道。这道正在你们信的人心里发挥作用。

祂按照自己的旨意，借着真道重生了我们，使我们在祂所造的万物之中好像初熟的果实。

因为十字架之道在将要灭亡的人看来是愚昧的，但对我们这些得救的人来说却是上帝的大能，

你们获得重生，不是借着会腐烂的种子，而是借着不会腐烂的种子——上帝活泼永存的道。

一块经常受到雨水滋润的田地若为耕种的人长出庄稼来，就蒙上帝赐福；

愿我的教导如雨降下，愿我的话语如露滴落，像水滴滋润嫩草，像甘霖浇灌草木。

照着祂在基督里所定的美好计划叫我们知道祂旨意的奥秘，等所定的时候一到，叫天地万物一同归在基督的名下。我们也在基督里被拣选成为祂的子民。这都是按自己旨意行万事的上帝预先定下的计划，

“这就像挪亚的时代，我怎样起誓不让挪亚时代的洪水再淹没大地，我也照样起誓不再向你发怒，也不再斥责你。

我使我仆人的话应验，使我使者的计划成就。我说耶路撒冷必有人居住，我说犹大的城邑必重建起来，从废墟中重建起来。我对深海说，‘枯干吧！我要使你的河流干涸’；我说塞鲁士是我的牧人，他必完成我的旨意，他会下令重建耶路撒冷，降旨奠定圣殿的根基。
